Class is mostly farmed out to the publishers of the text, who provide all materials and tests. There is little teaching from the professor beyond 1-5 word responses to discussion posts. This is more of a correspondence course than an online course; no grade updates or use of online gradebook because he claims it violates privacy laws - right.

I've taken several online classes so Rockwell wasn't hard to use. Actually it really reaffirms what you read or visa-versa. Lots of information to learn but extremely practical- you WILL use what you learn, even if you aren't an agent!

Rockwell is really annoying to use, i suggest not taking this class online.. It is extremely time consuming. The quizes and tests are easy

Extremely time consuming. I spent hours and hours and hours reading the book and taking the not-so-hard online quizzes and tests. That's the 'easy' part. The midterm (worth nothing) and Final (worth 75%) were very difficult. I got a C on the final after about 8-10 hours of studying. Only take this class if you are SERIOUS about real estate

Take a different online RE class NOT thru SC! This class takes forever and the final exam is 75% of your grade!!!!!!! and its 150 questions. There might as well not be a teacher because when you Email him a question he answers back with one sentance. How easy is your job its an online class that you cant write out a complete answer! This class sux!

I have taken 2 of his online Real Estate Classes, and am enrolled in two more. Basically, you read the book, and take tests online. Rockwell is a decent program. Their own quiz questions suck, but there books are good. Prof. Welc is there to help if you need it. Straightforward class, and I find the material somewhat interesting at times.

Mr. Welc is an inspiring professor, who does nothing but inspire students to do well. Martin leads by example, he's walked the walk and talked the talk. I find him engaging and helpful. I think anyone willing to put a good effort into their work would enjoy his class, either on line or on campus.

He is an odd guy,you'll see why at the mandatory meeting.If you are wanting to take RE 170,it takes about 96 hrs to complete on-line.No joke I spent 8 full weekends(including Fri.)at the comp.Good program though!..u WILL learn. Take it if you have A LOT of free time.Quick to respond to e-mails but he'll just send u the syllabus everytime, ANNOYING!

He's clearly knowledgeable regarding real estate and gets you very excited about the field. The classes are very time consuming. The only negative is that when you need assistance, he often makes you feel like he couldn't be bothered giving you the time out of his busy day. Don't expect much guidance when you seek his assistance.

Martin is a GOOD TEACHER. He's clearly a talented sales and real estate professional. You can learn from the best here. I did find it a lot of work, but that's not him, the CA DRE sets rules. MUCH better here than private classes and it's less $.Ladies he's wearing a ring;sorry! I feel your pain! Seriously though, a great class. He's the best.
