Useless material. Dry useless power point slides. power point slides are not useful for studying. they do not make sense. if you ask a question about a different method than he uses in his projects. he has no answer at all. he wants you to follow his way for projects. his slides are very confusing.

Dr. Barrett is an excellent teacher and always willing to lend a hand. He also has a great sense of humor and likes Family Guy. His test as noted before are kind of difficult, all short answer and problem solving questions. However there are no surprises, he provides handouts and works through many of the problems in lectures. Very smart guy!

My favorite instructor at ETSU. Clear, organized, entertaining, friendly, brilliant, fair, knowledgeable and helpful. You won't just breese through his classes, but you will learn, understand, and enjoy what he has to teach. Can't say enough about him. :)
