This lady is the worst math teacher I have had in my life. Her examples are the easiest problems in the book and then she sends you home to do the hard ones as homework. She gives out worksheets as homework also and they are all or nothing, meaning if you get something off by .0001 or dont get how to do something you fail the assignment.

Very bad at explaining anything going on in class. Moves extremely fast through notes and examples. Half the time her lecture isnt even related to the math being taught.

I was able to pass the class with an easy A. The class felt like a review to me and as long as you do the homework and ask questions, you'll be in good shape for sure.

Nothing learnt, wasting my youth, so straight, tryna make some jokes but it's boring. You can just buy the website and everything will be shown up. If you wanna learn maths, just pay for the website and you can do self-learning instead of going to her class. Bad hand-writing, I need to guess what she is writing.

this class was entirely review for me, but she was a really good teacher and i was happy to have her. she goes over every single question that will be on a test/quiz. no surprises! she was more than willing to help students review and answer questions. surprised at the negative reviews! if you put in effort and ask questions, you will do well!

Professor Keslo is irritatingly vague when it comes to actually teaching material, she assumes that her students already have a firm grasp on all the terminology she is supposed to be teaching us. Her website is probably the least helpful thing I've ever tried to learn with. By the end of the quarter, I was jotting down keywords and Khaning it.

By far the worst teacher Ive had. The online course shows the problem and the answer and doesnt explain at all, and she gives no info. I learned through khan for the quarter. Attendance isnt mandatory but recommended to pass. She takes attendance on tests and graded homework days even though its all online, you have to be present for credit.

Avoid her class if you can. She grades really hard. Some assignments if you get one little thing wrong you get a zero for the whole assignments. If you ask a question she will purposly try to make you feel stupid. Im usally really good at math and like it, not after her class. Also you have no clue what your grade is because of no canvas for clas

This was a pilot class for a new teaching program. The instructor was very thorough on presenting material. Since most of the material was review for me it was easy to get an A. She almost always had a funny nerd shirt on.

She moves very fast, when asked a question she either doesn't really answer it or gets irritated that you even asked the question at all. Her constant "you should know this" comments make it hard to approach her when you need help. She did not follow the syllabus for my class which through off all the dates for exams and assignments.

She has kind of a dry humor, which some people didn't appreciate, but I did. There's a lot of homework. She knows what she's talking about, but that also means she speeds through some parts of the problems instead of going through each step.

I missed about a week of daily classes bc a family member was in ICU. Despite explaining this, going to office hours, maintaining test scores above 96%, & missing few homework assignments, I came out of the class with a 3.8. She doesn't say that missing lectures impacts your grade, but she seems to grade partially from personal opinion.

If you can, DROP THIS CLASS and take another. Each point you get on the exams (300) homework (100 points) and the final exam (200 points) all equal 1 point grade, all totaling 600 points. 95% is 4.0, 85% 3.0, 75% is 2.0, 65% is 1.0 and 61% is 0.0. So you could pass with flying colours with a whopping 80% but that's less than a 3.0.

Comment:

You will need to study a lot outside of class. Often calculators aren't allowed on her tests, so you will want to practice arithmetic. She is a very tough grader and will dock many points for even the smallest of errors. Also, she tends to hop right into an example instead of explaining how to do something, which can be very confusing.
