Piano 1-A was very easy, and I really learned a lot. She may be monotone and a bit more...mature, but she knows what she's doing, and she really cares about the students and if they learn the material or not.

My daughter is taking harp w/Ms Roman & always has wonderful things to say. She's inspired by her & it makes her work even harder. Ms Roman, from what I've seen personally is very kind and dedicated. I was disappointed to see her rating cuz it doesn't add up to what I know of her. Students need to try harder and to not be so judgemental!

This teacher made me hate the piano. If she dislikes you she talks to you in such condescending and demeaning manor and shows no respect for students. She was consistantly late for class and always left early.

I actually take harp from her right now. She actually cares alot about her students if you take the time to do your work. She may seem cold at first, but if you give her a chance she will really open up to you. She is a very informative teacher and is actually very sensitive and expressive person. If you want to become a better harpist go to her.

I had her as a harp teacher, so we got more personal.She does pick favorites (but it has more to do with preparation than being nice to her) She is not a very socially comfortable person.I did not have a good experience with her, in fact she caused me to dislike practicing because of her strange requirements and choices of music.Not inspiring

Mary Roman is the most uncaring teacher I have ever had. Heaven forbid you have a bit of fun in her piano class, and if you have a question, forget asking her. Picking favorites all the way, just do what you're told if you have her and don't smile.
