Mrs. Shannon is a very intelligent teacher. She knows everything about human body. In 203,204 there are a lot of things which you need to memorize during the labs and the lectures. Take good notes, review those notes daily and you will do just fine! For getting an A, you need to dedicate at least 1 hour a day to study your notes, plus the labs.

I took Mrs. Shannon for both 203 and 204 and got an A in each class. I went to each lecture but it is honestly only needed to fill out the manual. The manual was my holy grail to get a good grade on each test. I never opened my actual textbook. The manual is what is needed in order to pass this class.

She is the WORST professor I've taken here at IPFW. Incoming freshman, PLEASE BE AWARE. Do not take her for your first year Anatomy & Physiology. She doesn't elaborate on anything whatsoever and the book doesn't really help either. I would study the notes like crazy and did poor on the exams every time! DO NOT TAKE HER!

She is a bit old-fashioned but is an amazing professor. She is clearly well versed on the topic and has many years of experience. She replies to emails rather quickly and is very willing to answer questions before and after class. Sometimes she makes good jokes.... other times not so much. but you laugh anyway. PLEASE STUDY AND DO HOMEWORK

She's very smart, just doesn't seem to know how to explain things to undergrads just starting out. I would study for weeks straight and still get D's. Not sure there are too many more options at IPFW, so prepare yourself.

The class was hard but if you read your notes and do the extra stuff she tells you you will understand it better. Pay attention in the lectures. She makes it a mot more complex then it needs to be so just study how you would remember it.

She gets off topic very easily during lecture, and is very disrespectful to those who make the smallest sounds. She also kicks people out who have kids/babies with them.

Does not answer questions. She does not explain stuff in an organized matter she just fills in the lab book. Lectures are boring, but you have to go to pass. No disruptions, going to the bathroom or whispering. Test comes from the notes. Her tests are worded weird, so its hard to understand at times. Try to take someone else first. Can get an A.

This class is all lecture and then quizzes in lab. If you don't attend lecture, you won't pass and even then it is difficult to pass. She goes off on random tangents throughout the entire class and does not answer questions with a clear answer. She isn't very personal with her students, don't expect help from her, prior students are your best bet.

This is not an easy course. She gives a good lecture just pay attention and review your notes. Best way to get an A is to utilize all resources. Read the text, attend lecture, go to open lab once a week, and follow the study organizer she posts on green screen. She really does give you a lot of resources and if you use them all you'll do good.

Overall, she's an okay teacher. During lecture, she explains things a little complicated and doesn't go in depth very much. She expects students to understand some of the big terminology that she uses. Plus she always thinks that her microphone's on during lecture but it isn't. So if you sit in the back, you will not hear a thing.

Go to lecture! The tests come directly from the notes, plus she'll mention certain topics that will be heavily covered on the test. You have to study at least 2 times a week or you'll fail this class. Extremely helpful, but she will not change whats on the syllabus. If you pay attention and study a B is easily attainable.

It's very important to go to the lectures because she talks about topics that will be on the test that aren't entirely in the book. Her lectures can be boring so sit near the front to help you focus. She's a sweet old lady who wants to see you succeed.

She was an awful teacher. She brings up things in class that have no importance for the test. Everything she does would annoy a saint. She does seem intelligent, but honestly it's hard to get a good grade in her class. It's almost like she tries to trick you on the test and she tests for specifics rather than a general knowledge of a subject.

She is rather boring as far as lectures are concerned but her exams all have the same set up. As long as you basically memorize her notes and can apply them you will pass her class. Make sure to show up to all labs and lectures or you will miss a lot of information.

She is a good teacher, but the class is tough. Study the day you go to the class and review what you just learned. The lab is the hardest part of the class because you have to memorize so much! She can be funny at times.

Worst TEACHER I have ever had, she is a very intelligent woman but does not know how to get the idea across to students. It all makes sense in her head but as soon as she tries to put it into words she loses everyone. Exams are ridiculous, none of her notes correlate with the exams.

Nice professor, I enjoyed having her. The course requires a lot of studying. While she doesn't take attendance, attending lectures are very important. Using the textbook is helpful, however I used notes to study most of the time.
