Comment:

Tueth is probably the worst prof I ever had. Although the course content is really interesting, they way he teaches is horrible. The tests are super hard, and he quizzes you on stuff he has yet to lecture about. He regularly insults the students' intelligence and will yell at you if you say "like", or use "they" or "it" to talk about something.

He knows a lot about his field, and introduces intriguing ideas, but the way he lectures is like a FOX news environmental correspondent. Loud, obnoxious, and closed minded. He has no people skills, and does not know how to connect and effectively teach students. You have to be a "Bland A" student to do well. You know, those one dimensional folks.

Very rude to his students, and expects way too much out of an entry level class. Offended people in class multiple times. His tests are ridiculously hard, and are over minuscule details, rather than large concepts, as they should be.

Terrible person. Wants students to ask questions and make comments, and when you're wrong (not if, you're never right)he says something to make you feel stupid. Looks like an ex Marine and is cocky like most of them but will consistently be late. Even the Sustainable Business majors hate his guts and those are his people. Grading=Impossible/Unfair

I don't regret getting my SB degree. But Tueth is even more stubborn and hardheaded after graduation. He has refused to send syllabi when needed for transfer consideration to another school I am attending. Doesn't have any aid for job searching/knowing where other graduates are. Very full of himself 'Well in my 17 years of teaching....' is common.

I always enjoyed his classes. The content was interesting and I learned something new every class. You do need to learn how to respond to test questions in order to do well. Like real life, you need to learn how to play with unwritten rules...but you will get so much out of it!

Its sad because this guy is one of the smartest and best professor in his subject but if you start to go into even simple economics he withers. Triple Top line doesn't make any sense and its just one example of his prideful ignorance. Speak the jargon, dissent will not be tolerated.

I really enjoyed Dr. Tueth's course, so much that I am now a SB major. His teaching style is very organized and he is very pleasant. He is very interesting and enthusiastic about the course. No it is not an easy A, but not too difficult.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU WANT AN EASY GRADE. His grading system is completely arbitrary, his test questions are specific to the point of insanity, and he seems bitter toward students who took a 100 level course expecting a simple class. Beware.
