good ole Binney...he is tough! i worked my butt off and got a B. always read and speak up in class. he is so smart and reads 5 newspapers a day, which is insane! he really helped me challenge myself which is why overall im glad i stuck with his class.

i had him last semester. he's not too bad. he's actually pretty funny, but not all that clear about what he expects in terms of your writing. i would suggest taking a liberal stance in all of your papers. thats what i did and it worked out for me. go to class, pay attention, ask a few questions.

This is absolutely the most pathetic professor I have ever had in my life. When you come to his office to ask questions about your paper you leave more confused than you came. When you correct what he has told you to correct you still get a bad grade on the paper. Don't take his class!

Binney is an extroidinarily nice and charismatic guy. I had a F in his class midsemester and he helped me turn it into a B. If you just talk in class and do enough of the reading to make an arguement, you will do well in this class.

binney is pretty good but he is a challenge. i think he is hard on papers. its hard to understand his assignments sometimes. he explains things weird. he is pretty entertaining in class though and very willing to help. hes not so bad.
