Simply put, if your not willing to put in a lot of work, do not take the class. However, one must ask themselves that if you really are wanting to be in the medical field do you not owe it to yourself and your patients to fully and completely understand Anatomy and Physiology? If the answer, to this is no, again do not take the class!

Knowledgeable teacher, helpful and hopes that you study well enough to pass her tests. But she doesn't explain course content well, as I don't learn from her. I learn from watching other instructor's Youtube lectures. Study effectively and hard so that you can pass those ridiculous Module Exams.

Sallan is a great teacher! I am currently in her AP 2 and had her last year for health and wellness. She is extremely helpful! As long as you read your material, you can pass this class. She's definately not going to do the work for you, but she will teach you in a way that helps you better understand! I would take her over Kobella anyday!

AP II Very good professor! The more you LEARN, the better you will SCORE. People who dislike her class, only dislike it because they want to score well without learning. When you show her you are learning and that's why you are taking the class, your grade will take care of itself. I'm grateful to have had her as a teacher vs coloring book teachers

Dr. Sallan is a great teacher. For those who pay attention and keep up with the required work outside of classroom time, you should be fine. She answers questions when they're asked, and her explanations are followed up by asking the student(s) if it now makes sense, or if she answered the question completely. I will take her for BIO 139 for sure.

Veena Sallan is a terrible teacher. I would not reccommend her to anyone. I did not find her to be helpful at all, anytime I asked her a question she would treat me bad. If you do take her dont scedule a class after hers because she is always late and will make you stay a few minutes over. She is very rude to her students

Dr. Sallan is definately not an easy professor but she is very knowledgeable and she is very helpful if you ask for help. If you don't like to study dont take her class. That being said I would definately reccomend her to anyone who is wanting to take anatomy 1 or 2.

i completely disagree with the last two comments. dr. sallan is extremely helpful to those who seek help, and is the sweetest professor. the material can be difficult, but she does her best to make it interesting and help students. take her if you're willing to work and want to learn.

I would not recommend taking Veena Sallan for any of your class. She does not go over all the material prior to the test, therefore the class is extremely difficult. She is supposed to be a teacher, but she does not teach.
