Great teacher. Simply put, you get out what you put in. He assigns homework like most teachers but doesnt check it. look in the back of the book for the answers. Goofy guy, but fun. I hate math and my highest grade ever in a math class came from this course.

He is absolutely horrible. His tests are generally based around 9 lessons and then some. You actually expect people to take in all that information and pass with flying colours? I would not recommend him AT ALL! (statistics)

He is very thorough. Explains everything you NEED to know, tests aren't much different from the homework and class problems. Show up to class, do your homework, get a study buddy or two, and you will pass easily. I have flunked stats 3 times previous, and have an A right now. He teaches in a way that you will understand what you are supposed to do.

He is very hard to understand. He doesn't use the textbook, he uses MyMathLab. The class is basically online and you teach yourself!!! He offers to help you but then he tends to make you feel like an idiot for asking a question. He teaches history of math and that is what he is really interested in. I would not recommend him.

Took him for History of Math and statistics. He is a good teacher. Tests are not as easy and you would like them to be, and he is very slow at teaching subjects, but you will know your stuff when you are done with the class.

I had him for Analytic Geometry, and I struggled through a lot of it. His tests were not as easy as the homework, and he does a lot of particularly complex problems from class and puts them on the test. He gives his notes though, extends homework deadlines, and his final test was cake when you can look back at the previous test. I liked him...

kind of a goofy guy. not the best teacher imo but not awful. i do the homework and study and have always made good grades in my other math classes but this guys tests are freakin hard. should talk less about this george polya guy

I took him for analytical geometry. He is a great teacher with an excellent knowlege around mathematics history, though he seems kinda elitist at times. He really works with the class on a whole, to get everyone to understand and pass the class. You will have to use mymathlab, which will turn 2 hours homework into 6 hours.

The course was easy. He never really lectured in a way that I understood. I learned all my material from Course Compass and he really stresses that homework. The homework is very lenient. Just ask him to up the due date and he does. I tuned him out most of the time and still made a good grade. Just do the homework and the rest is easy

Ignore everyone else, this guy is just an old man. He is very helpful and covers the material well. He is a little goofy and an ass at times but who isn't? Doesn't take up the homework and his exams are very easy if you just do your homework. I made an A+ with ease, everyone who rated him bad were probably just slackers. Would recommend.

I enjoyed his class. It was easy, maybe too easy. All the homework was done on MYMATHLAB, which makes it real easy to get 100% on all homework and as long as you understand the homework you can get an A on the tests too.

This teacher does not need to be teaching at a college level. He has no concept of math at all nor does he have very good teaching skills. Not helpful and very rude. Good luck....:(
