Tom Lux is a very good poet & an even better teacher. He is passionate about poetry & about helping his students improve their work. The poetry workshops he conducted were wonderful, as were all conferences I had with him. I attended SLC for grad school, & Tom was my thesis advisor. I HIGHLY recommend him if you are serious about writing poetry.

This guy ... he's good, but really -- plays favorites. likes to make everyone sound the same (which makes Grad Poetry programs so homogeneous!) Not terrible, but I never felt her truly "cared" about the students, except maybe "hot" girls. How typical.
