This teachers voice sounds just like Barney, hair is absolutely crazy, but I would have to say is a good teacher and nice guy. Extremely excited about his subject. Tests are worded confusing which makes things difficult. Read book and are fine for tests.

Very passionate about his job. I recommend going to class every day and watching the podcasts. Do your homework and read the book because it is a little different than he puts in his own words. Try and focus when he talks, easy to zone out and that was an issue for me

Dr. Briley really is passionate about what he teaches. He likes to ramble on a lot about single topics that can get overwhelming and make you zone out. I recommend going to every class/watching his podcasts and doing your homework and reading. It is a tough class, but he is very friendly and helpful if you ask!

he is a good teacher. I have him for physics of astronomy and he its really funny because he gets really into his lectures. every class is on podcast and has powerpoint and is all out of the book. wouldn't suggest not going at all to class just going and listening and then reading should have your for a high c to b. good teacher :)

very fun and up-beat prof. he is always super excited and really goofy, he does very good demonstrations and examples to help you understand, he even "revolves" around the tables to act like a sun. he is just really goofy and keeps you soo entertained. puts all lectures into podcasts also.

Teaches course well above math level requirements. Does not like to help you when you are stuck with homework because of understated math requirements. Tests are 3-6 hours long. This is not mentioned in the syllabus. Made me upset : (

Math requirements for class are understated. Expect to remember every equation you ever saw in any other physics course because he expects it. Tests take around 3-6 hours to take. He knows what he is talking about though and you do learn a lot.

exams are hard, he gets into his lectures but you have to actually be INTO physics/the galaxy stuff to be interested in this class. LABS are EXTREMELY easy and you always get done early!
