I really didn't enjoy this class. I took him for STQM 260 and passed with an A but this class was just messy. There was no organization in his lectures and he was very unhelpful to me. We didn't have any tests but instead assignments from the book. We never knew when something was due because he was very unclear. I would suggest taking another prof

Professor cooper is a GREAT guy all around. Lectures can be a bit confusing until you get the basics. Attending professor coopers office hours helped me tremendously, he explains any foggy areas and is always on your "team". The book was fairly cheap, $10.00. The book confused me more. if you have a choice take STATS with cooper, he's a great guy.

He is a great professor. He is a very kind guy and does a great job. While it can be repetitive, his lectures ensure you know things. The homework is from his worksheets, and his tests are the homework with different numbers. Just do the homework and ask questions. You don't really need the textbook, it's just for reading. Get him before he retires

Cooper is a great prof. He explains this very well. If you haven't taken stats, he is a good choice. However, beware - any of the STQM 260 courses at Ferris if you've taken stats in high school. It will be pretty much all review. Classes can get long when you've already learned the material years before. Cooper is still worth taking, though.

Prof is amazing, he is really caring and kind to all of his students. He has time to listen and answer to any questions that his students has and he thanks them for their input into the class. His tests are normal if you study for them and he his tests willl reward you if you do study. Lovely person and I am definitely going to have him again.

This class is really only for people in the BDA program. At first I was there to learn, but he has taught me more then just to learn. He gives out a lot of papers, but he will make sure everyone understands. The whole class works as a group. Its like a family. Nothing is every graded, he gives out a "final", it's easy.

Cooper is the professor that I thought was going to be easy due to the reviews on here. Turns out he was one of the hardest professors I've ever had. All really long tests with word problems no M/C and no T/F just hard word stats problems. All of the points come from hard tests. No graded Homework which would of really helped. Nice guy but not good

Coop is about as easy as it gets. He didn't give online homework this semester, which was nice cost and time wise for us, but I think it would have helped encourage practice. If you aren't very strong at more critical thinking math, do the examples he assigns but doesn't grade. If you don't focus in class it will become much harder. Show work!!

Cooper is a great professor! He can be a little unorganized sometimes but overall he does a great job of teaching! You have about 3 tests and if you do well, you don't have to take the final. He gives you packets that he makes himself and all of the test is right from those. Always willing to re-goover anything someone didn't understand. Great guy!

You get to use notes on exams, which is a good thing. But for most people, statistics can be very confusing so I highly recommend not skipping class, because you will be very lost.

He's a great professor. One of the clearest professors I've ever known. He makes things super simple and easy to break down, which is wonderful. Sometimes his classes get a little long. I find myself staring at the clock often, but that's also because it's very simple to understand with him.

Dr. Cooper is a hoot! There are short, simple quizzes which are easy points. If the class doesn't understand something he takes time to spell it out. No ppt, only whiteboard so take notes! The book is helpful, you use the tables but you don't really have to study out of it. I'd recommend doing the homework though, it was good practice. Take him!

one of the nicest profs here at FSU! tries to help u learn the material. very soft spoken and knows the topic. somewhat boring at times, but not too bad. no assignments & tests are easy. i'd take him again!!

Mr. Cooper, is the most boring teacher. If you are majoring in enviroment you will get offended with all the handouts he gives you. Each handout is more than 10 pages longs. When i took him, the handouts were so awful, i never read them. Tests are extremely hard, and when he talks his voice travels from high to a very low tone. DONT TAKE HIM!!!!

Makes his own tests. Most of it comes from his own lecture. Pay attention to everything or fail. I would not recommend this teacher at all. P.S. Buy a binder!:) I didn't:( and it cost me 28 points!

He made the best out of a very boring topic. Just go to class and review the study guide for each test and you'll do well. Super nice guy!
