Really boring but extremely easy. Open book open book exams but the book is completely useless. Don't even bother getting it. I opened it once during one of my exams and it didn't have the answer I needed. Everything you need to get a perfect on the exam is mentioned in class! So take really good notes.

Very nice instructor he is very funny and keeps you in tuned with his lectures. open book open notes on the exams I would say don't miss a class session because the notes are more helpful on the exams then the book is. no homework

I took professor diamond for physical and cultural anthro. I love his class! He has you laughing every day and is very interested in what he teaches. Tests are easy and he gives no homework. I considered switching my minor to anthro after having him for class. Would definitely recommend him!

This was the most boring class I have ever taken. I was so excited to take an Anth course, but he made it so boring and uninteresting that I ended up dreading going to class. Tests were easy - open note/book. Not a very good professor - cant explain things very well.

He is a really fun teacher, but 95% of the class is lecture. Be prepared to take a lot of notes, and keep them organized. All four tests are open notes and open book, so there really is no reason you shouldn't do well. There is no midterm or final, the second and fourth test take their places. If you are looking for an easy A, take this class.

Okay, this class is boring, but that isn't completely his fault. It's anthropology, what do you expect? He genuinely loves this field, and makes tons of bad jokes that only he laughs to. Four open-book, open-note tests throughout the semester, so your grade is in your hands.

This class can be a very easy A if you take good notes and go to class everyday. There are four test and they are a mix of multiple choice and short answer. All the tests have extra credit built in. Sometimes the class is interesting and others it can be pretty boring. If I needed another Antro class I would definetly take him again.

He is a hilarious man if you are smart enough to pay attention and understand him. There are four tests in Physical Anthro and if you take GREAT notes and don't miss a class, they are really easy. Oh, and he exudes a masculine sexuality that can be very distracting.

Good teacher, a bit boring at times. NO need to read the book, at all! Take notes, lots of them, and you use book and notes on test. No homework, ever, slightly funny, class is ok, especially if you just need to pass.

He is a very good teacher, all open book & open notes testing. Easy to get along with. Need to go to class and write all of the notes down that he writes on the board.

He's hilarious. I really enjoyed his class. In fact, I'm taking him again next semester for cultural anthropology because he was so good. Everything is out of the notes, and the tests are open notes. Easiest A I ever got. And if anyone could make looking at old bones all semester interesting, it was him.

Very easy class. No homework or big tests. 4 small tests. You get to use your notes and book so it's important to come to class to take notes. I haven't seen the funny side of him though. Talking about millions of kinds of primates all semester long is far from funny. Be ready to be bored to death, but I suppose it evens out since it's easy.

This guy had me laughing every class. not only that, but hsi teaching style was so that you could understand what he was saying, even if you are like me and know nothing of Science. I was not only amused by his teaching, but I was glad to find out how easy he makes it to pass the class. People who are seeking this kind of credits should take him!
