I feel so lucky to have had Mr. Haines as a teacher before his retirement. He is a wonderful teacher who cares about his students. He is always available outside of class for extra help and he is clear on his grading policies. Some may say he rambles, but I always enjoyed the conversations we had in class.

Rambles and repeats, especially his own views and certain jokes he finds funny. He's annoying, boring, and redundant to a fault. Some of his course material is sincerely interesting, and presented in an interesting way, his rambling makes it hard to deal with the majority of the time in his classes.

I had him for Warriors, Knights and Lovers and the class was amazing. Although in certain regards it was a stereotypical Brit Lit class we read a number of great works and went on an amazing field trip to the Worcester Armor Museum and a Trappist Monastar

One of the nicest professors that I've had here. For this particular class, he allowed us to pick the % that we wanted each aspect of our final grade to count for. I have never had a professor do that before! He makes the class interesting.

A really great man. Tends to ramble a bit much, making it dry. Does a great job with a tricky subject for some. I'd recommend this class, he's a fair grader and will work with any students strongest ability.
