Professor Hauser was a great teacher! I was worried since it had been awhile since I had high school chemistry, but it was not a problem. Professor Hauser had great lectures and made hard material seem very understandable and easy. He makes you work for your grade but it is worth it! 10/10 recommend!

Professor Hauser was amazing. He definitely doesn't hand out grades, but he presents the material in a way that anyone could understand it. His lectures are filled with jokes, demonstrations, and visual representations of the ideas he lectures on. His tests can be tough, and his grading is odd, but if you put in the work you do well.

I took his hybrid class where the class only meets 8 times in the semester and he is so fantastic! His labs were interesting and he is very willing to help you in any way he can! He is very passionate about his work. On top of that he's hilarious so it makes class even more fun. Very clear about what will be on tests.

If you're planning to take chemistry at STLCC sign up for Prof. Hauser right now! He is an amazing teacher. He makes the material easy to understand and teaches you to think through the concepts so you don't have to rely on rote memorization alone. No grades for homework (or attendance), but he goes over all the homework with the class each week.

Professor Hauser is a good and articulate lecturer. He utilizes blackboard regularly. He's very attentive during labs and does lots of demonstrations. Anyone taking him should be aware of grading and testing policies. He adjusts the grading scale eg 92-100 is A, 82-92 is B and etc. Also, he doesn't return tests and goes fast during lectures.

He makes hard topics easy to understand. The class consist of lectures and labs. You have to pick a new partner for every lab session. There is 1 small paper that we have to write, but it wasn't that hard.

He's a really good lecturer, he's super funny and a really nice guy. His test are pretty hard and you will need to study really hard for them in order to pass. But as long as you do the actual work and study you'll be okay.

Professor Hauser makes chemistry easy (if you can ever call chemistry 'easy.') His lectures and notes make the material fun and easy to understand. His tests contain questions just like the homework questions, no surprises. If you keep up with the material and work on the practice questions you will do well in this class. And he's very funny!

This is the second time taking this professor and I am certainly not disapointed. He makes his lectures fun, imaginative, light and easy to understand. He can make a joke about anything chemistry-related. He's extremely visual with his approach, often making extremely abstract and hard-to-grasp concepts a walk in the park! Great lab instructor too

Prof. Hauser is a great teacher. I took a hybrid Chemistry class, which meant most of the course was online, but we did labs and took our main exams at school (so we ended up attending class about twice per month). He takes time to explain things, is present and available at all times, and throws lots of jokes into his lectures and explanations. A+

What a fantastic teacher! He is extremely passionate about the subject and presents the material in such a visual way that makes intricate and abstract subjects palatable and even humorous. I couldn't get enough of his corney-but-effective use of humor in this course. I'm coming back to this college this semester specifically for this instructor!

He works hard to be the best teacher he can be. His grading was quick, but in depth, with many opportunities to get points for doing the right work, even if the answer wasn't correct. There weren't surprises on the tests, just the same types of problems from the weekly problem solving sessions and recommended problems. Highly recommend.

Professor Hauser is one of the better professors I've ever had. He genuinely cares about both the material that he teaches, as well as his students. He is very interactive, engaging, upbeat, and patient. His grading is fair (especially with the labs), and the tests cover the direct material taught in lecture. You need to study to get an A.

Took this class in my 1st semester of college back in 2011. I was scared of the class, but he explained things so clearly, that I started to love chem even though I hated it in high school. Sometimes the labs were kind of hard, but I made all A's on everything except for the first exam since I didnt study for it, or I wouldve had an A not a B.
