Hes a goofball and with a stoner personality but the information really sticks well. I took both macro and micro economics with him. While I cant say he inspired me to learn more on the topic, I really appreciated his teaching style.

Best course I've ever taken! The material was too easy to comprehend & his quizzes & tests relate to the material in the notes. We didn't have a whole lot of communication (not needed) but he was still caring to my situation with my due dates. You HAVE to read the notes because each chapter is just a quiz & a test. 11/10 stars HIGHLY recommended

Im not sure how people could see this class being fun and exciting, through all of my 19 years of living and roughly 15 years of being In school. This class is by far the most boring and life draining class I've ever taken. Nagano is a cool guy with the corny jokes, but this class is what makes me lose sleep. Good luck.

Overall good choice for an online professor. Online quiz and test were fairly simple. Read the book and you should get an A

Mr. Nagano was an awesome teacher. I really felt that I had grasped the concepts of Macroeconomics much better with his teaching style. While it can be difficult to read his writing at some times, he is a fantastic lecturer. I would highly take him for Principles of Macroeconomics.

No text book needed and absolutely NO homework, he gives you practice questions and the exact short answer questions before every test. However, there is a quiz every week in the first 15 minutes of class so you definitely need to attend class as much as possible, but if you show up all the time, and take good notes you'll pass with an A or B

He was very quirky. He was weird and had some weird stories. I loved his class and didn't fall asleep once! and that is impressive since it was a morning class. He lectured a lot and had several tests that made up your score. the tests were easy if you knew the material. The tests include essays, as well as multiple choice. I always did well.

Gives amazing lectures and has some quirky sayings that you'll get used to. If you are able to attend the majority of his lectures, no need to buy the online text book, I didn't accessed mine once the entire semester. There are 2 quizzes and a test for every section he covers. He'll drop the lowest 2 quiz scores at the end of the semester.

I took Macroeconomics over the summer with the hybrid class (one 3 hour meeting a week) and really thought Mr. Nagano did a good job of fitting the large amount of material in such a small time. His class can get a little dry sometimes, but he's a funny guy and really tries to keep it interesting. My only complaint is that he is really disorganized

Nagano explains macro in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Although he is a little strange, Nagano is a humble and kind man that is always open for questions. All you have to do is show up for class, take good notes, and review for the quizzes and tests. Careful about telling him your job. He will use it as an example for the entire semester! (:

Professor Nagano is a pretty decent professor, but you MUST take notes (unless you have a photographic memory)!!!! There were quite a few times where I was just completely lost, because he would sometimes go back and forth with his notes on the board and erase and rewrite graphs. Overall, I think he's a good teacher, I would take another class.

Mr. Nagano was a great teacher. Yeah the class can be a bit boring, but you can put your headphones in and check your phone whenever. Basically you show up to class and he lectures. He will write everything you need to know on the board so as long as you copy whats on the board you will be fine so it is important to attend class. And NO HOMEWORK!!

I took the hybrid format of ECN 211, 1 day a week. Must go to class and take good notes in order to pass. His lectures are so long and boring, but he does have his funny moments. Overall, difficult subject but he makes the class as easy as possible. He's average at teaching it, really disappointed because i thought he would be better.

Everything you need to know for the quizzes and tests are talked about in class, all you have to do is copy what he writes on the board and study it. Easy class if you follow the material talked about in class. His lectures often seem lengthy when he talks about a simple concept for way too long.

You have to go to class if not make sure you get the notes missed from someone, he also reviews the previous class before starting class. Quizzes and test are pretty easy. Use the practice test online and will pass. Straight forward class, no surprises. No homework which is great!

His sometimes broken English is funny and the things he says are hilarious. I have filmed it a few times. But he gives questions on the tests that he doesn't cover and he isn't really good at explaining the material. The only reason I think he gets good reviews is because he has a really funny personality. Not here to laugh though.

I honestly didn't use the text book once during this course. If you miss class be sure to get (efficient) notes taken because all quizzes and exams are based off of his notes in lecture. Nagano was fun, personally the subject is a bit boring but it was a better class than I expected and I thoroughly enjoyed Nagano and his love of the subject.

This class is purely lecture. I didn't buy the book and never needed it. He just lectures the whole time and uses the whiteboard. He's not bad for a teacher, kind of boring, but explains everything clearly. Very easy A, no homework, little quiz each week, just be sure to go to every class and take good notes.
