Comment:

All I have to say is good luck in trying to make an A in this class. Mr. Greenwood makes it impossible to make an A in his online class due to no feedback on any of the assignments. I made 80s for every assignment in this class. Also, I even took it upon myself to take an extra two exams to improve my grade; however, I received no credit.

Comment:

This is by far the worst professor I've had thus far in college. This professor gives 0 feedback as to why you receive the grade you're given on your tests (essays). Therefore, you have 0 hope of improving your grade. He makes the optional tests sound promising to increase your grade. However, you'll get the same grade in the end.

Mr. Greenwood is a tough grader but offers plenty of extra credit. You have to show that you are motivated and be in class. Great teacher! I learned a lot from his class.

I have absolutely no idea why Mr. Greenwood has such a high rating. His online class is ridiculous. His extra credit doesn't help because it's not genuine extra credit. The final consisted of writing 15 paragraphs. This is such an unnecessarily difficult course to take online. I've yet to experience a good history professor, & he is the worst yet.

This is my second time taking Greenwood. He is a really great guy! IN my opinion he is the best option for history at Cleveland State. He does give a lot of extra credit opportunities.

I made a high B both in both his Am. Hist. classes, and probably missed half the classes (so was probably my attendance). 8 am is way too early, but HE WAS AMAZING. I love his dry humor, his teaching methods, the way he grades, love how he prepares you... It's kinda easy to skip b/c he put all the lectures online. Despite my Bs, A+ to him!

I'm currently in Mr. Greenwood's class. I was hoping to get him again for 1120 next semester, but our schedules would not match up. I'm really going to miss having him as a professor! Thank you Mr. Greenwood! I have really enjoyed your class!!

I'm not even done with his class, and I'm going to go ahead and say he's brilliant. His lectures are pretty interesting, and he tells you exactly what to study for the tests. AND he drops your 2 lowest grades. He's really nice, and respects when you make a clear effort in class. I already signed up for his History 2 class.

After transfer to another school in 2011, I realized how much I missed his class. No other history teacher has taught(or graded me on things)as honestly as he did. He really left it up to the student to determine their worth. I miss THAT! Also, it did not matter what book you read, he evalulated your essays based on true knowledge of subject.

He is an amazing person.I love his sense of humor even though I don't fall out laughing all the time. Knows his stuff real good. Great teacher and very helpful. I love his class and only missed it once. Pretty flexible about attendance and tardiness. If you really want to learn World history, He's the way to go.
