Great guy. Mostly discussion based. Lots of readings but does his best to make them interesting. You can probably get away during discussion without reading but it'll come back to haunt you for the papers. Sarcastic and fun, he can take a joke and dish them out too. Would take again.

Prof. Taber is easily one of the best professors I have had a class with. He is very intelligent, witty, and down-to-earth. He honestly wants you to do well in his classes. He explains things clearly and very often takes students' advice seriously. TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM. You'll learn a lo and it's philosophy, so it's awesome.

One of the smartest people I've ever met. Interesting discussion based lectures, and no attendance policy he grades only on the work you hand in. His assignment descriptions tend to be a bit unclear, but if you ask him he'll explain what you dont get

He pawns his work off on his TA's and then grades the exams on his own, turn to him for help and you will immediately be directed towards your TA as he does not have time.....dont try to challenge his views, because that will not work because this guy thinks of himself as aristotle, socrates, plato and dostoyevsky all rolled into one with a lil george carlin added for flavor and he def fails at that attempt

Professor Taber was great - and responded well when I wrote him a note at the end of a test about the bias I felt was shown in our reading materials.

SMCM has many profs with the special gift of teaching, but MT stands out. He's one of the sharpest people I've ever met, but is also engaging and motivating. He is demanding -- his class is for those who both want to learn and enjoy learning.

As close as humanly possible for a teacher to be Eudimania. Look I actually sort of learned something, even though its spelled a whole lot of wrong.
