Dr. Applebee was hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. Analytical Chemistry was very hard, but she made her lectures easy to understand. Her tests were fair but they were challenging. Make sure you keep up with lab work, there was a lot of it. 100% would recommend her.

Dr. Applebee is a fantastic teacher. She doesn't use ppt slides, so you need to show up to take notes. Her lectures are easy to follow and her tests reflect the material from lecture. I would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Definitely do the homework, it will make your life a lot easier and even record her lectures if you want to. Dr. Applebee is a great teacher and is very thorough, doesn't deduct silly points, and gives great feedback on homework.

Despite this being a fairly difficult course, Dr. Applebee made lecture enjoyable always and never failed to leave a smile on my face when leaving the classroom. She's kind, caring, helpful, a good listener, and is so fun. Definitely would take her again, and I enjoyed her class this semester.

Great professor! She's also very hilarious and relates lectures to every-day life so it doesn't get boring. I took CHM211 and CHM212 both back-to-back during the summer so it was VERY fast paced compares to a regular semester... but she is the teacher to take! Very good at helping you understand the material. Wasn't a fan of chemistry until her.

Dr. A is amazing, intelligent, and she can convey her vast knowledge of chemistry in an easy(ish) to follow way. Analytical chem was tough, no doubt about that. The material was doable but man her tests are tough. Like, none of us knew what to expect for most of the problems. She would hint at what to go over but that only makes up a small portion.

Knows her Chemistry. Do homework worksheets and quizzes and take notes. Sometimes gets off track during class which was kind of annoying but overall a good Chem teacher. Always willing to help as long as you don't ask questions she already answered. Lab was generally quick and easy. Helps with lab reports too.

Dr. Applebee is passionate about chemistry and she is VERY Knowledgeable about the subject but the class was STILL HARD for me. Yes she does give xtra credit and practice exams but it was still hard. The practice exams were always easier than the actual exam. DO HOMWRK it will bump ur grade up! STUDY this class is NOT EASY

Best teacher at EC! So helpful and willing to explain anything you do not understand! Her door is always open for questions or if you just want to talk!! Be warned, her class is not a simple one, work is involved! But as long as you do your best and she sees that you are trying then you should be just fine! Don't be afraid to ask questions!!!!!!!!!

She is such a funny person! Some people have said she is a little biased, but I disagree. I was never a Chem person, but after her class I changed my major! I am not a Chem minor. She rocks!! I will be taking every single class she teaches. love love love!! Shes also pretty easy, she gives you answers but if you do the work, you'll get a good grade

Attendance isnt mandatory but if you miss class you're going to feel it. You're going to get the grade you deserve in this class. If you don't do your homework, you're not going to get a good grade.
