Don't get me wrong she is a good teacher, and it's not hard. But you will not learn anything useful. She gave a grammar test for the midterm, and it was stupid. The final is a group project. Also if you miss more than three classes, you will fail. She will not take any excuses not even doctor notes.

I've never seen a professor truly care about students so much. I took 3 classes with Michelle during undergrad, all were excellent. I recommend taking every class she has to offer. She prepared me for the real world by getting us active in the community with professionals, you do real work that matters. Her classes are easy if you just do the work.

Her class is not hard but if you slack off she will have no problem giving you a bad grade. The first test and quiz are no joke and if you slack off on those two you will set yourself up bad for the rest of the semester. A couple of presentations as well.

She takes what she does seriously and you should too but shes always so happy and encouraging which takes all the stress out of her class, but if you skip class you'll fail and if you don't read you'll fail . I love Dr. J!!!

She is awesome. Im not even a peppy person which is why im surprised she didnt annoy me... shes great and you can tell she really loves what she does. Not hard either and I hate public speaking! You do have to take the class seriously though and show up! Take her if you can. She's so cute.

GREAT TEACHER. I'm really sad I didn't get a class with her until senior year. She is engaging, thought provoking, and keeps class interactive. The work she assigns is thoughtful, not busywork, and there is not a lot of it, although she grades kind of harshly on it. VERY STRICT ATTENDANCE POLICY, if you can't get to class don't sign up.

Extremely peppy, which can be frustrating at times. Does not show concern for students' time or other obligations. Does not provide clear or detailed expectations, yet deducts points when her expectations are not met. Harps on the importance of being a powerful leader but does not follow her own guidelines. Very inconsistent grading.

Professor Johnston is great! I transferred to UNO and had to take this class again because at UNO it falls under MANG not BA and all of my presentations got great grades only because Professor Johnston taught me. I ow all of my success to her!! If you plan on being in a field where you must speak a lot take Johnston she is fair, and helpful!

Hardest business class. You think you would get some break by giving all these speeches, however, they are graded hard. Attendance policy is ridiculous cause only four are graded and you have to guess when to go to class, since class is useless unless you are giving a speech. Dont do it

The prof is the only faculty member, who is both brains/looks. The prof can remind one of those women who are on the excerise programs on morning TV. She should definitely be a news anchor like Katie Couric, because she has the looks. If you take her course, you will feel like she is captain of the ship, yet she is one of the students!
