I respect and admire Michelle! Took this class in the first semester she taught it, and it was one of my favorite classes ever. This professor is outspoken and demands professionalism from her students. You must be open-minded to new and progressive ideas about teaching to get the most out of this class. Also, be organized and don't procrastinate!

Passionate about the class, but very strict on attendance policy--if you are tardy to the class, those tardy minutes will add up to count towards full absences. Willing to help, willing to be flexible, but also willing to assign a multitude of projects all at the same time.

This was a great class, and Dr. Tremmel is very passionate about teaching the class. She grades fairly, and actually helps you improve your skills. My only complaints were that it was difficult to keep track of due dates for the multiple projects going on at the same time.

Very caring and helpful. Strict with the attendance policy, but just show up to class on time and this won't be a problem. Much more concerned with students' development than grades. Great teacher!

She sucks. She's boring, if you are even one minute late for class you are counted absent (which you only get 2 a semester), she loves to hear the sound of her own voice, makes you write a million papers per semester, and I'm not an idiot. Trust me.

Excellent teacher. Very open to creativity and allows you to really explore english by offering lots of options and alternatives for projects. Excellent class when you take it with her.
