Comment:

Professor Roose was pretty plain, mono-toned, and boring. However, he's very descriptive of what he wants on an exam and his clicker questions are usually easy to get full credit. His exams are ALL free response, but it shouldn't be too difficult if you study the lecture slides religiously and attend lecture. Overall, he made Genetics fun for me.

He is the worst teacher ever. He reads straight off of his ppt slides. He is a total waste of time. He makes no sense in class. He thinks he knows genetics when he knows nothing. The only thing he knows is how to read and if you take english class, you could be as smart as him.

Class is pretty easy overall. Lectures are pretty boring but his notes are good. Because the averages are high, you will not get an A unless you have a 90% or above. Thus, there's not much of a curve in the class. You've been warned!!

he is not hard at all....but if u wanna get an A ...besure u get 90% or above.he will not curve the class at all.Also, his lecture notes is very useful .be able to understand what he talks in the lecture.Exam is straight forward!

His notes are pretty clear and his test questions are very straight forward. He doesnt curve b/c his tests are fair enough -> average always comes out as 70% which is a C. He is boring in lectures but he is definitely the easiest bio 102 teacher. He is really not that bad !! ^_^

I would say his class is easy since a lot of students are in the A's range but that's the reason we don't really have a curve. The tests are really easy. He is always available to answer questions in his office hours. The only bad thing is, the lecture is super boring.

You know, this guy aint so bad as most make him out to be. He's got easy tests, a nice curve and overall he's the easiest teacher of all Bio102 teachers. He does tend to have a boring class atmosphere and put you to sleep, but if you can stand it, you can get an A.

VERRY BORING. he has no voice inflection soallhiswordssoundlikethisanditmakesyoufallasleep. he gives lecture notes, but just reads them, he doesnt explain anything. i hate when teachers do that. if you have to take him, go to the reviews, they help a lot.

He's kinda boring lecture-wise. His first midterm is easy...2nd one is harder...and final is multiple choice.
