He is great! You do not really have to go to class if you study the CATECHISM. Very easy. NO homework ever and no textbook. He is so funny. Wish i could have him for every class.

HORRIBLE! He sends you 11 pages of q&a to study which is difficult to actually study and bases your entire grade solely off of 3 tests and if needed a final. Didn't help me AT ALL, I would NEVER take this class if I knew how bad he was.

GREAT GREAT GREAT. Very knowledgeable about the TV industry, so you will learn a lot of stuff. It may all seem a little overwhelming but study those guides he gives you. Exams are mostly fill-in-the-blank, but again, study those guides.

Although TV Industry is very early in the morning, Donovan lays everything out so easily it's impossible to fail. PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS! For TV History it's the best class I ever went too. 3 teachers and 1 classroom equals tons of laughs and tv clips to watch. Must have class.

Donavan may seem like a salty fellow, but what is earth and meat without the seasoning? As cynical as he may seem, he is one of the best professors around and he'll make you laugh all while you learn. Highly recommended!!!

Cool guy very knowledgable. I find it hard to study for his tests. He send a catichism out before each test, but it is very long and not all that easy to study with. There is no textbook which is nice. whatever you do DO NOT fall asleep you'll regret it.

Donovan only teaches early in the morning or late at night. He has a sarcastic tone to him, but he's a good professor. He'll even let you make up exams if you have a valid reason. If you don't like teasing humor, I imagine you would loathe him. Otherwise, it's a good teacher to have for the class.

Donovan does have a humor that is hard to get at 8am in the morning, but he is a genuinely nice guy with a lot of real world experience! This class is really important if you're an RTF major and he makes it easy. No book and no papers! Plus if you get an A average you don't have to take the final. Yes, he may poke fun at you but it is funny.

Donovan's TV industry class was the worst experience of my 4 years of college (and I want to Community college for the first two years, for God's sake!). Donovan thinks he is funny and REALLY isn't at 8am. Also, the whole useless semester could be taught in one 3 hour lecture. Least favorite ever.
