Professor Higgins was the best professor I've had. He's funny & engaging, and even if the readings can be boring he finds ways to make them interesting. There are 4 papers, but they're wicked easy if you pay attention in class, and he provides all the sources for the papers (and bibliographies!). I would love to take another one of his classes!

He's the best teacher I've ever had here. EASY af, just have to write the papers like he says. gives you four papers & one group project that takes like 5 mins... He does give quizzes and makes you read so you know what he's taking about in class. Some of the readings are boring, but they're easy to read.

Fantastic professor, I can't compliment him enough. He's straightforward, grades quickly with great feedback, and makes all his expectations clear. The workload isn't too much, I learned a lot in his class and enjoyed the readings. Great personality, wants students to succeed... I would love to take one of his classes again! Highly recommend.

The best English teacher I've ever had. So nice, caring, and wants you to succeed. He's funny and he gives you readings that are actually interesting. He lets you revise papers which is good because you can increase your grade and become a better writer. I'm taking him again next semester. I looked forward to this class every week. But don't skip.

Such an amazing professor and even better guy. Professor Higgins makes you want to put full effort into the course by making all the readings and papers (no matter how obscure) seem so interesting. None of the topics covered are ever noting either. Taking him again for ENL102 even though it's a late class because he's the GOAT

DO NOT SKIP CLASS! You will not pass if you skip! However, Higgins is a knowledgable man and will help you with whatever you need! Also we used current events and we could write basically whatever we wanted about them! He also does not like late work.

This is the second time I've taken Professor Higgins and I must say I never regret taking this professor. He is always willing to help, gives great feedback, and lets you revise your papers if you don't like the grade you received. His dry wit makes the class interesting, even when we go over a boring reading. Please take this professor if you can.

Professor Higgins is one of the best professors I've taken my freshman year. He is always willing to help his students. His quick wit makes the class entertaining. He gives you several essays, including one PowerPoint presentation, and he gives you another chance to re-do your essay if you don't like the grade you received.

He's an incredibly helpful professor and he's super sarcastic. He only has four big things and then little quizzes throughout the semester and you don't even need the everyday writer in his 101 class. He's willing to help you out if you need it, but know he doesn't really accept late work and you only get two absences

Great teacher does not have extremely high expectations, if you do the work it's an easy A. Gives four major assignments and the rest are all small homework assignments which take 30 minutes or less. Not much reading is assigned. Not a harsh grader on the essays. Extends deadlines.

He is literally the best english teacher I have ever encountered. Essays are very easy, he extends deadlines to meet your needs. On top of all this he is really a great guy with a good sense of humor. If you can fit this class into your schedule then do so immeditely! I'm just upset that I cannot take him next simester.

A wonderful prof and person. The best ENL course and teacher I've had. I received Cs on my first two papers. But, he worked with me to help make the rest of them A-worthy. Has a sarcastic and witty sense of humor. Teaches a broad range of lessons. Topics for the paper are interesting and relevant. Gives quizzes after hw readings. Take this teacher.

One of the Best teachers easily. Not only did i learn a lot from this class. He had me thinking every time i left his class. Always spoke of interesting topics. Showed interesting videos in class. Also gave enjoyable papers to write. Take this guy if you can. He's the man.
