Mike is AWESOME. He understands that [normal] people don't like math. He makes the material really easy to understand, and makes problems out of the textbook optional (for practice). His assignments are relatively easy and are due the day of his tests. I was surprised I got an A. I never get a's in math =]

This teacher is great. He seems very accessible and easygoing. He's intelligent, easy to understand, and just a good teacher in general. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. The drawback is that there are 3 projects in this class. The last one involves a presentation, but you can have a partner.

He was a good teacher but he makes you do projects in his class... you never have homeowrk! Only suggested problems which you should do because he is nit picky on tests and projects!!! The problems help out a lot! He is not easy but not horrible either i would suggest him over some of the other math teachers!

he a wonderfull teacher hes great at comming up with different ways for you to think about math, im more of a visual learner and he is able to explain it in a way that makes sence to me. he also will answer any question you have but if your completly clueless in math you should be taking mth 90 with linda spears and then you will understand better

I was grandfathered into this class. I am so old I did not have to take the usual prereq's. I got a C and probably could have done better if I didn't have so many other responsibilities. I thought Mr. Welden was an excellent teacher and very accessible to his students. I think he has the gift of teaching, which I was more teachers shared!

Though I did horribly in this class, it sure WAS NOT because of Mike. He is an excellent math teacher, and though I hate math, I could actually tolerate this... even enjoy it at times. If I had to take another math class, it would be with Mike if at all possible.

I hate math but I love his classes! He doesn't just know math, he knows how to teach it! I had him for MTH 115 and hadn't taken math in 3 years and recieved an A! I took him again for 220 and got an A! I wish he taught algebra!

Mike is one of the best teachers I've ever had. Math is not easy for some, including myself, but he couldn't possibly explain things any clearer. He is helpful when you need it, and grades fair. He also gives quite a bit of homework, but explains that well also, so it prepares you for his tests.

Mr. Weldon is a great teacher. I took an online class that he monitored. He was always there and willing to help. He responded to email questions immediately. His tests were easy and his explainations were very clear. Math is difficult for most...he is a good teacher to take!!
