Professor Riggio is one of the teachers that makes Trinity great. Smart, articulate and caring, she does not suffer fools or lazy students. If you are here for the beer--take a class with someone else. If you want to be both challenged and supported then sign up for Professor Riggio's classes. Professor Riggio is the absolutely best. She is the sweetest lady. If you put the work in, watch the films, and participate in the discussions (which are always interesting) you will have a very fulfilling experience. I love her!!

Gee...where should I begin...You will only do well if you agree with her - even on topics based solely on opinion. She is not friendly. She's terribly lazy, once I noticed she wore the same clothes days in a row. I am still figuring out how the heck she got into Harvard!

Milla is brilliant - a great teacher - but a rather contentious person. I asked for clarification on an assignment and she just could not see why I was confused. Will help you, but be prepared for some rudeness.

I loved Riggio. She taught me loads. There was a lot of work, but all of it was engaging. She does not coddle stupid people or students that don't have their**** together, but is very fair with extensions and that sort of thing. If you do not like to participate in class, do not take Shakespeare in Film. Otherwise, it is great. Highly reccomended!

Milla is a very engaging prof. Lots of work, but allows rewrites on everything. Will meet anytime to discuss papers or your ideas about the material Will answer emails and respond to drafts with a quick turnaround time Grading is very fair. She can be brutally honest with feedback, so be prepared, she knows crap when she sees it, rewards hard work!

Great professor and knows a tremendous amount of shakespeare and film. She gives you a lot of feedback and grades fairly. It's extremely easy to get high B's on all of your papers. She doesn't give out A's easily. However, there is a LOT of work in this course. A paper + 2-3 assignments every week!

wow. what a fabulous professor. Not only is she brilliant but she is kind and helpufl, fair and appreciative. I learned more in this class than in the majority of english classes here. Be prepared to do (a lot of)work but to be rewarded beyond belief
