Dr. Eisen gives interesting lectures, but he doesn't make the class an easy A. Make sure you take detailed notes on the textbook and lecture if you want to score high on the quizzes, which are almost half your grade. I was expecting this class to be easier, but it's still very doable.

I liked his style of teaching. His quizzes and exams were based on the lectures and readings. The book has all the information you need to pass the tests. He makes sure you understand the topic well and gives you clues as to what will be on the exams.

The tests are pretty easy and straightforward. He doesn't do slides so do not skip class. He does give extra credits so take that opportunity. His lectures are interesting so I would recommend him.

He was a great professor, but he never uses power points and rarely writes on the board. You must be a good listener and a good note taker. The material isn't hard but you have to put in the effort, it's an easy class if you do the extra mile you should be doing. His lectures are not boring, and his tests are easy if you study and pay attention.

Great professor! He really took the time to help us and give us any wisdom he thought we could use. He doesn't use slides or worksheets and basically talks the whole class time so it feels like a conversation and you pay attention the whole time. He tells you what topics to study for exams and if you pay attention and read, you can get 100%

First, if you REALLY don't want to buy the book, look up the book title and study notes then click on the link with course-notes or AP Study Notes. Secondly, you better listen good in his lectures. He gives all the information you need to pass. If you have trouble with listening, sit in the front row of the lecture hall. TAKE THAT EXTRA CREDIT!

Attendance isn't mandatory but come to class, 80% of the tests are from pure lecture and the other 20% from the book. He doesn't care what book you buy as long as it has all the information from the school's textbook. 3 hours of research studies(super easy just show up), 1 research paper, 3 quizes, 1 midterm, and comprehensive final.

I absolutely loved having Professor Eisen as my first professor in psychology. He really involved all of us and I enjoyed his teaching methods. It is important to pay attention the entire time because he doesn't make slides, but it isn't difficult to focus because he's entertaining to listen to. I definitely recommend him for all students.

Class is extremely difficult unless you read ,take good notes and listen during lecture. The tests are MC and short answer. Dr. Eisen is a good teacher but jumps around a lot , forgets easily what he is going to talk about because he gets distracted and off topic easily. You will learn, but unless you get 100%+ on everything, B is your future

I really enjoyed Dr. Eisen's class. As a Psychology Major, it was awesome having his as a teacher to introduce me to the field. He definitely stresses the importance of showing up to class, but his lectures are always interesting. Several times, random people would come in just to hear his lectures. I definitely recommend taking his class.

Professor Eisen was a difficult teacher because he used no visual aides during his class. You are sitting there trying to not get distracted while he attempts to include jokes into lectures that are boring. The subject itself is interesting but the way he presents the class isn't helpful. Would not recommend to anyone looking to take PSY150.

He doesn't do powerpoints and just lectures so make sure you pay close attention and are fully awake during class. However, he makes lectures interesting and he's a pretty funny guy. There's TONS of reading involved so make sure you pay close attention to lecture + book material. He curves grades on tests if he sees the class does badly.

I absolutely loved his class! He makes lectures very interesting. He does NOT do slide lectures so be sure to pay close attention to what he says. Study lecture notes and read the book and you should do good on the tests! I can assure if he says something will be on the test, it will be so write it down !

His tests are very tricky and personally I found them hard. Many people did not do well. Luckily he gives extra points depending on how others did on the tests. Make sure you read the textbook he will ask questions that he does not go over during class. Do the extra credit work.

You have to read for the quizzes but I found that if you just skim the chapter you'll pass he goes into a lot of detail in the lecture. Lectures are very informative and he's pretty funny. There are only quizzes and tests so be sure to study hard for all of them. Try to write down the questions and answers from the quizzes theyre in the tests too.

First quiz is based 80 on the book so read the chapters and dont rely too much on lecture notes. Midterm may be similar questions as 1st and 2nd quiz, so when he goes over answers, make sure you know what to study if you got a question wrong. Final is cumulative. Extra credit helps boost up ur grade! I didn't read for the first quiz ..
