Comment:

She wanted her students to pass, but she piled on homework that didnt align with the pace of the class. She also posted the extra credit very late in the semester, which put those who were doing it under further stress. She also got annoyed very easily, and I found the lectures to be unhelpful as we did the online work for most of each class.

Tons of pop quizzes and tons of homework especially right before a test. shes so mean and yells at you for little things people go out of class and eat snacks and she doesnt say anything, but if I talk in class, then she creates a scene. she has her favorites. nobody likes her. and those who do, pretend to so they could pass. STUDY

Hybrid class, first few weeks you have the class twice a week then she changes it to once a week. Have a test almost every class, homework is due almost everyday and she gets irritated at little things. She has the potential to be nice but she can be mean at times. Easy A just have a lot to words to remember. She chooses best 3 tests out of 5

Unorganized, doesn't know what she is doing... expects you to be fluent speaker but then starts teaching basic tense from scratch.. she doesn't make sense. would not recommend... if you see her name run!!! I wanted to minor in spanish and she ruined it for me. treats a nonnative class like it is a native class and loves the native speakers not fair

She is an excellent professor. There is always homework being assigned but the tests are extremely easy if you study the material. She can be scary sometimes but is also a sweetheart. Just do your work, come to class prepared and study. Non native speaker here and I had no trouble with the course.

One of the best professors I ever had. Lots of memorizations to know. You have to study hard for exams. Always extra credit for exams. But exams are pretty easy. Class is fun and she's a great professor.

She nags a lot. very annoying. HOWEVER . she's such an easy a. she always has extra credit and her tests are like exercises from the book. the only reason you wouldnt pass is if you dont do the online exercises or dont memorize simple things like verb endings. i dont mind how annoying she is bc shes so easy to pass. drops the lowest test.

Casco's problem is that she's lazy. Everything was last minute, from canceling class to announcing tests. She would assign crazy amounts of work to make up for HER absences which were sometimes up to 3 classes in a row. When she was there, she taught Spanish at a 200 level as expected, which for some reason was surprising to unprepared students...

Shes so nagging omg. Very irritating. However, its a hybrid class so much of the work is online and her assignments are super easy and straightforward. The only reason you wouldnt do well is because you dont study

Prof. Casco is a great professor and as the student before said, knows that this class is a requirement. Anyone who complained about her was lazy and didn't keep up with the extremely straightforward online assignments. Do the assignments, show up, participate and you will get an A. She is very nice and wants her students to do well.

I took Professor casco for span111. Just needed the class as a requirement. And she knows that, she makes it simple as possible for anyone to pass. Definently do the HW on time, and participate. She does take attendance. Easy A.

At 1st I didn't like but she is a very fair grader & its 111 . She knows you are taking it because CUNY makes you. Participation helps. U won't fail as long as you show you're improving. occasionallylate & can get snippy if u r lazy, but nice overall. Don't take if u r native speaker or took in HS. She is very strict about that & will drop u

I took her for 203 and was distraught when I found that she was the only 204 professor this semester. She misses class frequently & gives a quiz almost every class, likely to make up for missing grades that SHE is responsible for. She uses the textbook a lot in class, and if you read it, you'll learn just about as much as she could ever teach you.

Misses class for a whole week and gives a test two classes after returning, and during the test tells us were gonna have another one in 2 classes. She's usually late, rude to her students, impatient, and WILL kick you out if aren't fluent in Spanish even if you're registered. Only recommend if this is a class for your major otherwise AVOID
