Dr. U can seem kinda intimidating at first, but she's very kind and passionate about her subject area. The workload/reading looks like a lot on the syllabus, but its honestly pretty manageable, and she's not a hard grader. Was an easy honors credit.

Dr. Udvardy knows whats shes talking about, which makes lectures a lot more interesting. She grades fairly, and consistently. The only bad thing about her is she doesnt post PowerPoint slides

Dr. Udvardy is amazing! Not sure why there are so many comments against her. One of my favorite professors. I have had several classes with her. In my experience she is an easy grader, ready to help, very passionate about what she does. She's very sweet and funny if you actually take the time to talk with her.

Ignore the three comments, she's fine. She's passionate about the subject, and she's really nice. After having her for the whole semester, I think the reason the commenters left bad ratings is because she thinks evolution is correct, but it's a cultural anthropology class, so idk what you expected. Take the class, I enjoyed it.

She's is the only person who is right I her mind. Don't ask her about other ideas or philosophies because there is no discussion. She lectures and then spends an unnecessary amount of time explaining why she is right and that's the only answer.

This is an honors course and alot is expected but we are honors students. I learned ALOT and really enjoyed it. The lectures were clear, and the fieldtrips awesome. I also liked the group projects.

Dr. Udvardy's class was hard to get through. She has a combative nature and it is hard to make any points that do not fall directly in line with what she believes. Her lectures are clear, but a lot of people in my class can't stand how pretentious and self-righteous she is.

Dr. Udvardy is a brilliant, very helpful professor, but if you are not heavily interested in anthropology and willing to devote as much work to this class as you would to a class for your major, do not take it. I found the class to be much more demanding than I expected to the point that it took away from my major classes at times.

I really enjoyed Dr. Udvardy. She is a very interesting person and teacher. She loves her subject, and you can really tell when she is teaching. Tests cover a lot of content, she barely gives you a study guide, but they are not as hard as you expect. On papers, she expects multiple drafts and she helps improve your grade on them.

I read the last two comments before the class started and I though, "She can't be that bad." Oh, but she is. If you have any condition that requires, shall we say tact, or privacy than this is not the professor for you. Even my Disability advisor was appalled by her actions. Also her study guides are along the lines of, "Just remember everything."

By *far* the worst teacher I've ever had. Lost my papers, graded completely unfairly. She frequently said one thing in class but graded differently on our assignments. Rude, unkind, and disrespectful. Overall, to be avoided at all costs, especially for INT 495. If she's teaching it, it's worth waiting for someone else!!!

This is what college should be about! Dr. Udvardy is just FABULOUS! I absolutely loved her class, there was never a day that I was bored. She's a very inspirational woman who is doing very great things. I have a tremendous amount of respect for her.

Easy and straightforward class. Not such a great teacher, however. She seems to teach straight from the book with little variance from the text. Also, she doesn't make students feel stupid, but she also doesn't seem to have much interest in what they have to say.
