Dr. Nordlund tries to take an interest in her students and puts forth the effort. Either she reaches you or does not. On the other hand, as an adviser, she is absolutely terrible despite her efforts to help students. Recently she has had some personal issues outside of the classroom and unfortunately this has affected her demeanor, etc.

She is terribly disorganized and undlear about class requirements. We were always unsure about assignments and when tests/quizzes would be. When she's actually teaching, she is excellent, but the class itself was pretty poor because of all the confusion. I honestly didn't learn much from any of the classes I've had with her.

I loved her class! She makes it very relaxed and fun. Everything you learn in her class is useful as an elem. teacher. I know alot of people didn't enjoy the class as much as I did, but get to know her, she's a wonderful person and very knoweldgeable.
