Nice guy blah, blah, blah... He sucks never got time for you, not even in his office hours. Difficult problems going from one subject to another. Picking favorites students and advertaising his fieldtrips to sierra nevada and Death valley. He can teach astronomy pretty well.

He was cool while he was here at AHC. Yes, he expected you to do the work, but isn't that what true learning is about? School isn't about rote memorization or redundancy. He made his problems difficult, yet solvable. An all around great instructor.

Erin is a great guy, and very caring. However, his physics course is terrible.Classtime is completely wasted on tangents and pointless examples. The book is barely used at all, and hw questions are not answered. Tests are completely answer based, so forget partial credit. If you can't teach yourself, get a tutor, because he won't teach you either.

Ok, When i heard i had to take this class i was less than thrilled. Especially when the semester syllabus is equivalent to that of a 1st grade class. This class was soooo pointless. Never studied, everyone copied off eachother. Very happy to realize that I spent almost 100 bucks for it!

Oi. If it wasn't for the fact I needed this class, I would have dropped it. It became a self-taught class less than a fourth of the way into the semester. It was frustrating. Yes, its a hard subject, but that was frustrating.

Erin is a super nice guy. His lectures are quite jumpy and he tends to be a bit of a spastic subject changer. Tests are fairly easy, but very specific. Very good conceptual teaching makes it easier to understand the big picture of the subjects he covers.

Erin is a great guy who tells good stories and captures the interests of his students. There's a lot going on in his life, however, so he is a bit mentally unorganized. His classes are fun and you should have no trouble learning something from him.
