I loved taking Ed 201! We only met once a week. Each week we had a small project and notes about the textbook chaper due. There is one big group project (a powerpoint about one of the topics), 1 midterm and 1 final. Its not a very dificult class at all. I really enjoyed it!

He's a science guy, all of his examples are science, all of his demonstrations and inquiry-based stuff is science-based, which was super weird because none of us were science majors! We had to step out of our comfort zone but it would have been nice to see more stuff related to our majors. You never know what kind of grade you're going to get.

Rodger is an ass to students who are seeking their P-3 teaching certificate. He on several different occasions knocked the P-3 certificate, or made rude comments about us. None of his activities were geared towards preschool through 2nd grade students. He needs to learn to accomadate all students in his classes regardless of certificate gotten

Rodger is a knowledgeable professor. He may seem tough at first, but he really has a big heart for his students. His class is inquiry based...so ask lots of questions. He still helps me with reference and questions to this day (and remembers me) Take his science capstone. We went to Chewelah Peak Learning Center for 1 week as future Elem. teachers.

Rodger Hauge is a wonderful professor. There were various science/social studies projects in his class. Our class met twice per week for 2 hours or so. His lessons are educational and relaxed. Rodger has made a difference in my life as a teacher. i still go to him with any questions I may have. Also, take his science capstone as a senior!

Rodger is a different teacherbecause he uses the Mantessori way of teaching so your really hands on. He is one of the most helpful teachers you will meet. Take his Senior capstone. It's fun, easy, and you learn alot. Plus it's 1 week and not 10 weeks.

Seems very rough and tough, but is really a great guy! Watch out for an extremely emotional lecture when he does "Diversity in the Classroom." Overall, a really great guy, and a pretty easy class. We only met one day a week, had a paper due almost every week (only 500 words), a mid-term, a final, and one group presentation. Highly recommended!

Hard to get clear directions from this guy and he asks you to do a lot, but as long as you do the work you'll be fine.
