Dinno has to be in the top 3 worst professors at this entire university. I have been on the Dean's list since college began and because of his class, I got my 1st C ever. You cant understand anything he says and besides his heavy accent, he mumbles! DO NO TAKE HIS CLASS. PERIOD!!!

Class is worthless because he does not prepare ahead of time. The tests are nothing like the questions in the book so you never know how to study. He gives you opportunities for extra credit during the semester otherwise only a handful of people would pass the class. I feel like I taught the material to myself and learned very little.

Absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had. I made my first D in this class and I am a senior. You cannot understand what he is saying, he does not teach at all what he tests on. He is never in class. THE WORST EVER. The Physics Dept. at ECU needs some serious help with their intstructors.

honestly, he is horrible. he doesnt care how his students do in his class. I tried to set up multiple meetings with him, yet he never showed up for one of them. He is hard to understand, and his test are extremely hard. I made an A in college Algebra, and failed his class horribly. Do not take if you can help it.

This man is hard he beats around bush giving you life examples but book is totally different. Do not take this man or you have to retake like me,I studied and worked on those problems for hours then he says come to study sessions what good they help.

Comment:

Professor mumbles in a thick accent. As if the material isn't hard enough to understand to begin with. Never goes over homework, never goes over tests thus you never get anything of value in the lecture. Paying for a tutor is almost mandatory in this class because the professor does not teach. He rambles/mumbles and the rest is entirely up to you.

Avoid at all costs. Unless you're exceptionally gifted in mathematics and have some prior physics classes you won't get anything out of this but a poor grade. You litterally have to teach yourself and go to tutoring sessions. Physics is the most failed class at ECU. I passed this class thankfully but what a waste of my time.

WOW! i can say i didnt learn a thing in his class. however when i thought i was going to fail he gave me a B. i was thrilled. if you don't really care about physics and you dont need it to sue it for your career then take him. you probably wont learn anything and you'll do poorly on exams but you will end up with a good grade.

couldnt tell you what we take about in class because I either cant hear him or cant understand him when I do hear him. Tests are very difficult even if you study. doesnt take attendance so i recomend you just dont go to his class just attend the help sessions the TAs are much better teachers. avoid the class if at all possible!

He is by far the worst professor I have ever had for any class. It is extremely difficult to understand him and he gives practically no examples. His test are very challenging and he covers very little in the class. I'm a straight A student majoring in chem but this class has been tough.

Very hard class. If you ask questions, be prepared to ask it several times. When he talks, half the time he mumbles. He will tell you there are pop quizes all semester and probably give one or two. I agree that he is condesending to females. I don't think he realizes it. Nice guy. Great curve.
