She is the worst teacher i have ever had. Her grading is horrible and her classes are pointless. I literally stopped going to class because all you need to do is read the book. Overall, do not take this class. She is my last final for the semester and im praying i pass...every other subject i got an A so that should say something about her class.

I've never made any comments on Rate My Professor, but I specifically got on here to speak my mind about Nancy Jabbra, or as one of my friends called her-Jabberwocky. I just received a D on a research paper. My GPA is a 3.8. You should know her husband is on the board, keeping her job for her, and yet she criticizes housewives and dependent women??

Was definitely interested in the subject before taking the class, now Jabbra has completely turned me off from it. She's an IMPOSSIBLE grader, doesn't actually teach you anything and then expects you to take a midterm and final over things she never even mentioned in class. Only positive is that there were interesting readings.

I am currently taking this class and I HATE IT. I'd really like to withdraw, but I don't want it to affect my GPA. Anyone who's thinking of this class should reconsider. Professor Jabbra is a terrible teacher; she only talks about herself. I haven't learned anything substantial in the last month. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!

The good: she doesn't take attendance. Some of the readings were interesting. The Bad: She does not talk about anything useful in class. You can barely hear her, even in the front row. I love the subject of women's studies, but I could not stand her class. She mumbled throughout most of the classes, yelled at her computer, and did not discuss the readings. I was hoping that there would be interesting discussions, but it was mostly her talking. She is a teacher that needs her students to share only her opinion. DO NOT TAKE HER.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER. Do not take her unless you are a masochist, and even then, it might be too much. I took her freshman year, 8 am. The readings were NOT discussed, she is CRAZY, and nothing she taught was applied to any test or paper.
