Professor Schellenger is extremely passionate about anatomy and you can tell she wants her students to succeed. I had her for lab and she worked just as hard as we did to ensure that we understood the material. She gave quizzes every week, sent diagrams/notes to study, and held open lab every week. She stays late to tutor students after lab too.

Comment:

Took Mrs. Schellenger for Bio 150 this past semester. Human anatomy is not an easy class, but its possible to get an A if you work hard. She is honestly the most helpful, caring, professor i have met at IUP so far! Tests are challenging, but she offers at least 15 free bonus points every exam ( ex: 90 question test, takes it out of 75) Take her!

She is honestly the best prof. I've ever had. She loves what she does and it rubs off on her students. If you don't put in the work for bio you will fail and thats not her fault. She does everything possible to help students. Bonus questions on tests helped me out. She is so sweet and personable. 4 exams and 2 practicals, thats all. STUDY.

Your grade comes entirely from your performance on exams and lab practicals and you won't pass if you don't study a ton (I studied by making very detailed flashcards off of powerpoints and notes taken during lecture) but Schellinger really cares and is very enthusiastic about the class and her students and she is great to have for lab.

Ms Schellingers class is not easy but she is the sweetest and most caring professor ever. If you go to office hours she will help you and be incredibly encouraging even if you are struggling in the class. She loves what she teaches and it really helps in learning yourself. Tests are hard but she is a great professor.

She is a great teacher. She is very clear. Answers any questions. I would not recommend buying her lecture packet because she has PowerPoints you can print which are much better. Her exams are super tough, you feel like you did super well but you did average. Must make notecards. Great sense of humor and cute little old lady.

I LOVE HER. One of the best professors I have ever had. TAKE HER FOR LAB. She works with the cadaver so much and is so helpful. She will go out of her way to help you. Such a sweet woman, I would 100% take her again for another class.

Best professor I've ever had. I have trouble in science classes but she made things easy and made you understand the information. She wants her students to succeed and does anything she can to help. She was one of the best professors I have ever taken a class from. I have always had trouble finding professors in the Sciences that explained things clearly. She tried to make everything as plain and simple as possible. ACTUALLY cares about her students. Will do anything and make out of class time to help you in any way possible. I recommend her!!

AMAZING! You can tell she absolutely loves her job! Always happy and willing to help. She's very repetitive with her information, so you're sure to know it by practical time. I would absolutely recommend her.
