She is a nice lady dont get me wrong but I would not take her again. She doesnt grade things like she needs to or post them when its time to. She gives you little instruction on what to do and you have no idea what your grades look like

Mrs. Z was very understanding in the beginning of the semester and then towards the end became very bitter. She teaches public speaking yet she does not know how to speak to her students politely. Also a very nit picky grader. so get it right the first time!

NO! STOP! DO NOT TAKE HER. you will have NO idea what to study for!! I have never made a worst grade in my life. EVERYONE FAILED THE EXAM! There is so so much reading and so many essays that she is a VERY harsh grader. This woman has no mercy. I thought this was going to be a cool class, but I regret it SO much because of how she grades. DONT DO IT

LOVED this teacher for public speaking. She made the fear of talking in public completely vanish! I THRIVE at public speaking because of this teacher! If you genuinely try your best, BE THERE FOR SPEECH DAYS!!!!! you'll get an A

All of the class material is common knowledge unless you are completely anti-social. I didn't learn a thing. We have one more class until the final and I still don't know what grade I have in the class or what the final is going to be on. We've only have one 5 question test. I don't know how she is grading us. There is also one group project.

Professor Zinermon has a peculiar way of being lighthearted and compassionate, while being no nonsense at the same time. She is adept at reading people, and has no problem answering questions or addressing concerns, in class or during office hours. You will do well if you pay attention, at least participate in class discussion, and show up to class

After her class, I went on to study at a university and her class was one of the few that actually prepared me for advanced studies. They don't hold your hand at the university level, they have high expectations and so does she. If you show interest, she will meet you half way but show up and get involved or don't complain.

Rewarding class. She seems so nice at first but then you get your grades and your like "who graded this?" I never did poorly but I am used to all A's on all assignment. willing to help you out. Just ask. She does talk a lot and references the text but the class doesn't revolve around it. Made an A but I like public speaking. take class at risk;)

Mrs. Z is a very sweet lady but she was very confusing with her directions not clear at all so if you take her ask a million and one questions and you should be fine. First off she needs to understand that people are beginners which she doesn't. She is tough on grading and when it can time for a final (written) she gave us NO guidelines to study.

Grow up people ! This is college and what she expects is not unreasonable. It is challenging. It takes practice to speak in front of people, hence the several assignments, duh! She knows what she is doing and is only trying to help students improve in a very useful skill.

I thought Mrs. Z would be a nice teacher, but was I wrong! She might seem nice on the outside, but there's something about her that makes her seem she is a bit of a control freak. She grades really harsh and & expects students in giving professional speeches. Not the best teacher and I do not recommend her. Her grading makes no sense.

Ridiculous. Wrote more words than I spoke. Too many essays. Does not understand positive reinforcement. Poor instruction on speeches. I expected her to at least give examples of the speeches we were doing. Never happened. I don't understand her grading method at all. She expects Obama-quality speeches.

TBH, I took this class in '08 (so things may've changed). The Good= Mrs. Z was nice and made the subject interesting. Also, structured the class to ease into Public Speaking (to help reduce our fears). The Neutral= Could've been a little clearer on things. And used the text book more. The Bad= Grades tough, but fairly. Also, has a final Exam (???).

This is the worst teacher I have ever had. She says not to stress, that it is easy to pass. NO ONE in my class passed with anything higher than a C!!! I attended every class. Did all the work, when you turn in an assignment be ready to lose all self esteem you have!! Terrible terrible terrible. Never again!!!

The most ridiculous teacher I've ever had. Vague, inconsistent, and very contradictory. Asks for ?'s, but she is so general you don't even know you have ?'s until you receive a random, irrelevant assignment. She knows it too b/c she actually steps outside so we can talk about her. Tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she is irrelevant.
