This woman. Dear God. Okay, so she REALLY knows what she's talking about, but she isn't good at teaching it. It's anybody's guess what will be on the tests. She changed her teaching style after every single one, so that didn't help either. I managed to get an A but it was pure luck. I was looking forward to abnormal and she kind of ruined it :/

Enthusiastic and willing to teach to students who care about the subject. If you participate in class you will most likely get a B or better. If you do not show up to class you will probably not pass. I am not a pysch major but took it for a gen ed and got an A without using the text book once. She's fun in class and interesting.

the only advice I have is to read each chapter the test is going to be on and highlight. i did that and passed everyone of her tests with an A. also, the online quizzes are helpful, some of her questions come off them. don't just skip the info either, take notes on them. she likes to curve tests a lot which helps your grade tremendously!

Horrible teacher, tests are on stuff she doesn't even go over, just decides to throw in random names and parts of the text that seem to be completely not important, leactures are incredibly boring she basically just has conversations with people in the class that are psych majors while everyone else doses off and doesnt learn

don't know how Dr Lion is as a teacher, but as a professional, a pshychologist, she is second to none - the best Psy. D. we've ever had & we've had a few - she's quite brilliant

Professor did not take attendance which was cool. Her tests had a lot of opinion based questions, her lectures were very power-point based and boring. We watched a lot of movies too. She would list the grades from each section and on average only two people would get higher than a C in ALL of her sections. AVIOD.

Nice lady, horrible teacher. In her lectures she rambles and doesn't care enough to keep the classes attention. Tests are SUPER HARD on info she doesn't go over in class. One of the worst teachers I hever had.

Attendance is not mandatory, but it definitely benefits you to go to class. She lets you drop your lowest test grade, which is awesome, except the tests are really hard, and only 1 person in the entire class got an A on the last exam. Definitely not an easy A, but should be an easy B for most people.

She is a very nice and energetic teacher but her lectures are basically pointless. She just rambled the whole time and the powerpoints are useless. Basically just read the book and you're good. But she does curve your grade and gives alot of extra credit.

She's a good person, funny and what not. But all the stories she say DOES NOT HELP WITH ME LEARNING. She's too nice for her own good. No guidelines in her class, which kinda makes being motivated to do online quizzes very hard. And the test are hard as well. If you do not withdraw like i did, I suggest reading the textbook ALOT.

She seems to be a sweet lady, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this class. Yea attendance isn't that big of a deal, but the test majorly suck. They are on huge ammounts on information and it is really difficult to focus in on what she may be putting on the test, even for dedicated students. This class is a no go

She was the worst teacher I EVERRRRRRR had! At first her rambling stories were interesting, and then I realized her stories had nothing to do with the lesson, and neither did her power points. Learn to depend on the powerpoints- or just withdraw, screw what these ppl said, this class is not an easy A.

i enjoyed this class. she posts her powerpoints on-line so you can print them out. bring a highlighter to class cuz she will tell you what's important and what will be on the test. attendance isn't mandatory, but you'll be lost if you don't go because her videos are on the tests. it annoyed me that she didn't know how to work the DVD player. easy A

She is a really fun teacher. Tests are hard unless you read the book. She is very generous with extra credit. You must attend every class if you want a good grade, even though she doesn't do attendance. You will not get good grades on her tests if you don't show up for the information.

At first the stories and jokes are funny, but once you take your first exam you realize you learned nothing because of them. You MUST read the text yourself to know the material. She makes outlines which are helpful to know which parts will be on the exams but u still need to read. You can leave anytime during class which most people did.

GREAT TEACHER! FUNNY AND GOOD STORIES WHICH ARE RELATED TO MATERIAL AND HELP YOU REMEMBER. GOOD HELP IF YOU ASK FOR IT. READ HER NOTES ON WEBCT AND READ BOOK. SHE DOESNT TAKE ATTENDENCE BUT GO TO CLASS BECAUSE ANYTHING COULD BE ON TEST. LOTS OF MOVIES AND EXTRA CREDIT! TAKE HER!!

She's actually somewhat interesting and has stories to link to what you're learning but all in all, I dislike her. If you miss a class and that class has special information thats on the quiz, youre screwed
