Dr. Kressel is super smart and sweet. He is lenient and understands we're busy college students. There is a lot of reading and writing, and he can go off topic a lot. Lectures the whole time so it's a very long class. He's a great guy though, easy classes.

he's ok, i just didn't like the fact that he wasn't clear on the exams or paper but he's easy if you study the textbook. also the first half of the class was based on his own book he wrote but obviously he's going to grade harshly on it. & 1 (5-10 page) paper at the end. rambles too much & goes off topic every session

Passionate about his subject, tends to talk himself into rabbit trails regularly. Knowledgeable, pleasant man who is always about ten minutes late to class. No pop quizzes for this class, three multiple-choice tests, and two papers. As long as you read the material and pay attention in his class, it should be an easy A.

Always late but doesn't care if you are. He lectures for all 2.5 hours of class but sometimes we'll watch movies. Funny and awkward. Lenient on due dates, just don't take advantage of him

Dr. Kressel is very genuine. He takes care of each student individually and knowledgeable. He knows what he is talking about and if you get lost, questions can be asked at any time. He replies to email quickly and the class was very interesting!

The course material is clearly laid out in the beginning of the semester. I recommend reading (or at least skim) the chapter before the lectures however if you pay attention during class your will be fine for the tests. Kressel is very enthusiastic about the material which makes the class very enjoyable.

He responds to emails quickly. He gets excited over the material he's teaching. He drinks a lot of Diet Coke. his lectures and tests are very textbook based. You don't need the textbook if you can just skim one before tests. He's passionate about what he teaches and the books he wrote are not needed for the class but are interesting.

Very thorough when he's lecturing, but he has a tendency to digress A LOT during class. Take good notes and read over the textbook and you'll have yourself a good grade at semester's end. All in all, he's a good guy to be around and to learn from.

Dr. Kressel is an awesome professor! He is very understanding, and willing to work with you if you struggle with the work. I took him for psychology of law. The class consisted of two exams, 6-10 pg. paper, and presentation 2-3 minutes just explaining your paper. His lectures are super interesting, and he is actually really funny. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Kressel is a passionate, incredibly educated professor. He loves to lecture and will play devil's advocate for anything that is said, but if you enter into his class with an open mind, you will learn so so much. He assigns a lot of books, Do not buy them before semester starts, wait for him to clarify. Great grader and gives helpful feedback!

LOVED HIM! Class is a bit challenging but if you read and follow along in lecture you will do well. He is incredibly passionate about what he does. He tends to get off topic with stories but they are actually entertaining and make the class go by faster. He does make you buy his book which is a little annoying but definitely would recommend him!

One of the best professors the school has to offer. Extremely intelligent and likes to tell silly stories about his work inside and outside of academia. Very insightful and will make you think about things you may never have thought of before. Highly Recommended.

When I first took his class, I hated him. I thought he was condescending. Upon further instruction, i found out he is a wonderful professor. although, he plays devil's advocate, he makes you think. He makes you passionate about arguments, i STRONGLY suggest taking him.

His tests are mostly true and false which obviously means they're crazy! but its really on what he discusses in class so if you take enough notes you should be fine. He is a total weirdo! but the lectures are interesting because he tells stories from his life that are funny. Going to class is really not necessary to pass the class, just read the chapters before the test and you should be fine.
