I took Nick's English Comp class. The writing styles I gained here made my later grad papers easy.. I later took three semesters of evening Shakespeare classes with him through the continuing ed program. We discussed Shakespeare, the law,philosophy and quantum mechanics over food. Was the only thing keeping me sane in Rolla.

Very fun classes - but sometimes we didn't actually learn much. He makes the literature interesting, but aside from actually getting us to read, didn't provide alot of information that we couldn't have found ourselves. Fun - easy - but not enlightening.

Dr. W. Nicholas Knight is the English professor that makes you love literature. He is not only knowledgable about his subject matter, but passionate about literature. He has no political agenda to force on his students. He is not hard, but if you do not pay attention, you are cheating yourself.
