If you are a non-CMPSC major, you might want to think about taking CMPSC-120 with Dr. Demir. The class was challenging at times; however, it was manageable. The instructor did his best to explain the coursework in a way that you would understand the material. Overall, a fun class that was taught by a great professor.

Piece of cake, you don't even have to show up. He goes you all the notes so you don't have to buy the book. Tests are open note open laptop. Very easy, but his lectures are not engaging and are very boring. Take for your science requirement.

He is one of the most humble and caring persons that I've ever met. He goes above and beyond when it comes to helping students succeed. You can easily tell he truly loves his students. As long as you don't miss the review sessions the day before the exams, It should be an easy A.

Professor Demir is the best Professor I have ever had. He is a high supportive professor who encourages students to do well rather than put them down like a lot of other professors at suffolk, which motivates me to go to class. He has interesting stories and is such a kind professor, I love his classes. The work is interesting I learned a lot.
