Horrible teacher. She spent a whole hour lecturing us on how bad our papers were. Class was suppose to be about Cinema and violence, not how much we sucked as writers. Very closed minded and had an argument with a student. She gave only 1 A and 1 A- to the whole class on their papers. Do not take unless you are a good writer.

Yes the glass is Very Boring. Yes she is close minded. But if you go to class everyday and do every homework assignment (which are easy), then you will get an A without question. It is a trade off, you spend many hours in this excrutiatingly boring class in exchange for and A on your report card

I took an Opehlia class during the summer a while ago, she was among the most interesting and intelligent instructors I've ever had. I'm in grad school at a different university now and would love to have a teacher as smart and interesting as her again.
