This class requires that you write on average, 2 to 3 paragraphs per class. There is a homework assignment due almost every day you have class. It isn't the easiest core class I've ever taken and not my easiest A. Participation (attendence & homework) are 50% of your grade.

I dreaded going to class. Boring lectures, ridiculous exams, and papers. I was upset with the class, but if you do your work and study for the test you will pass. The more you write the happier she is. Dont take this class if you are looking for an easy A!! Should get fired because she has no idea how to teach history

No talking or Computer usage. Attendance important. Go do the things she says. OK tests and HW's. She is very good natured lady. Respectable. Do the regular, nothing crazy and you will make a B or B+ or even A- with not tht much effort.

My original professor became in and she substituted for the rest of the semester. She was tough in the amount of work she required; however she was very helpful and understanding. She was very interesting. If you have time for the work you should take her.

Attendance is mandatory. She has a lot "rules" such as no bathroom and no eating, but she is a very sweet lady. she gives the exam questions prior to the test and allows an index card and open notes during all exams.

Not a recommended professor here at St. John's. Her material is extremely extensive her exams can be graded inaccurately many times. Recieved a B for the class and had to fight for it since she lost one of my papers.

Such a nice lady! Very understanding. A lot of material to read but it will help you to prepare for her tests. She gives thorough study guides so it helps so you can do well. A few written assignments here and there. I got an A, definitely worth it to take.

While it's been 3 years or so since I've had her, she's really sweet. Her lectures and soft voice may put you to sleep, especially when she turns off the lights (what was she thinking we'd do?, but overrall you do learn the material clearly and easil
