Excellent class. Great and fun teacher. He was considerate and responsive both inside and outside class. The start was hard, but things became more and more clear as the class went along.

Great Professor. He is the besy ohysics prof. out there. He doesn't put too much pressure on you and that makes the class very interesting, and makes you want to learn. Read the book, do examples and physics is as easy as 1,2,3.

This was a great class. Much better than physics 2 with Celenza has turned out. I think I was spoiled. The class made physics interesting and made a connection to real life. I still do fine gradewise, but now it's just boring memorization and confusing lectures.

He is an easy going teacher. I dont think he prepares his lectures and thus end up looking ignorant. He grades very fairly. Hard to find a minute with him to talk but you'd better hope there is no need to talk. Lectures are straight from book, but dont miss the class cuz there's a quiz every morning...

He's fun in class, makes physics enjoyable. Doesn't teach very well, but tries hard to make you understand. As long as you do all the HW, you'll get a good grade. My Lab Prof (Lesser) is better at explaining and helped a lot.

All you pre meds out there he is the guy your looking for. he teaches through his experiments and you'll get a good laugh out of them.He is very generous with the curve and gradings. very helpful. its not an easy A but you do have to study hard especially for his exams, which are straight from the HW.in short he is really good

Dont be fooled, he comes off as a nice guy, but he cant teach if his life depended on it. he uses his powerpoint program that is exactly like the book, in otherwords, he doesnt explain what he is teaching. be prepared to teach and tutor ur self..labs are pointless, homework is teadious..

Great guy. Nice. Approchable. Respectful. Speaks fluent Chinese and is very funny. Easy quizes, and very fair tests. You need to read the book and listen to his SUPPLEMENT lectures. Good luck.

I had to teach myself the all the material, but that is the same for all physics professors. At least he's amusing in lecture and nice. He has a real love of the subject and it spreads. I hated this stuff before, but now I love it too. He gives partial credit. Try to work problems before lecture.

very forgiving in terms of problems with homework. Takes class quizes. Makes sure nobody falis in his class. Gives greades very generously. Gives partial credit very generously. He is nice and professional and he respects the student's view and opinions. I recommend him.

He seems very nice at first, but when you need to talk to him about a test or wtvr hes very stubborn and sometimes wont even see you during office hours.I tought myself the entire course. Very weird man, even said so himself. Very unclear about waht he wants, but will work with you if you ask him. I'd recommend taking him, he explains the actual material pretty well.
