Great teacher and person. I strongly recommend this class and professor if your trying to get into the school of business because its an easy A. I barley came to class, he cancels a lot of classes and instead gives us quizzes online where you have over 2 hours to do that are very easy, and I don't even study for his class like that.

He really wants everyone to do well in the class. Makes a review sheet, practice exam and "what to know" for every exam. He makes every effort to provide extra assistance by always offering tutoring or extra sessions. If you come to class he tells you what exact questions will be on the exam and shows you how and gives you the answers to them.

He really cares about what he's teaching. Takes attendance most of the time. He has a thick accent and his handwriting is pretty bad. He gives good review sheets for the exams which can be pretty hard. He's a good professor and is very nice.

He can be difficult to understand, but Papa G is the best. He enjoys what he teaches and makes boring material easy to listen to. He writes everything he says down which makes it easier to follow his lectures. He's clear in his expectations of you and the work. Takes attendance every class.

Comment:

I could not understand half the words he says. He does not go outside the box or tries to help his students understand a concept he just throws consecutive examples at you and expects you to pick it up on the spot. He teaches at a very fast pace and even gets lost in his own lectures. I do not recommend signing up for his class.

Comment:

Took the summer online course, definitely different than in-person, obviously. Consisted of 3 exams that took the majority of your grade by 80%, the other 20% was divided into 14 discussions and around 11 quizzes. Somewhat hard, at least for me since the textbook is a drag and just requires chapter readings. Gives chapter notes but you gotta work.

Attendance is mandatory in the beginning, but through the semester he takes attendance less and less and eventually stops altogether. Cancels class a lot and explains everything in detail so it is easier to understand. He once moved a test because it was scheduled the day after parkfest. Definitely would recommend taking him.

I would recommend everyone taking his class. He wants all of his students to pass, and offers a TON of extra credit, especially if test grades weren't what he expected. You don't need the book, just go to his lectures and he basically summarizes the chapters for you, and his example problems are the same format as the ones on his tests.

His accent is thick, but you really do get used to it. Really nice guy, took attendance but kind of stopped. His notes are detailed and there isn't a lot of aplia assignments. He's super nice and provides a lot of extra credit and bonuses on tests.

His accent was a little hard to understand at first but he writes everything on the board. Really does want his students to do well and gives a review sheet before the tests (not very useful though). 3 tests total and some online hw assignments. Not too hard honestly if you show up to class. Started the year with a sign in sheet but that stopped

He is the best professor I had my first semester. He is the sole reason I double majored in economics. His accent is tough to understand , but you start to catch on. He is a really funny dude with great handwriting which helps his accent. All of class consists of taking notes, but he manages to make it interesting. Gives review tests before exams

Papa is one of the BEST teachers at this school. I had him for macroeconomics and did really well. Notes are clear, a ton of review, bonus opportunities, and a curve. Do not need the textbook. Papa wants you to do well and teaches off of memory.

His notes are really detailed and helpful. He will always answer your questions and shows a lot of examples. You dont use the book a lot, and there are aplia assignments. The tests arent bad and he always gives out practice tests days before. He does keep attendence, but class isnt bad. He lets out early a lot and hes a cool guy.

He is an amazing teacher. He will help with anything you are confused on. Even during the test if you ask he will most likely give the answer. He has a strong accent, so if it hard to understand sometimes. You shouldn't miss his class because he doesn't teach from the book he teaches straight from his brain. If we read your notes you will get an A

Papa is a funny guy. He wants you to do well and will laugh with you and make sure that you are doing well in the class. YES he has an accent and YES he writes everything down so you CAN understand. He will always slow down if you simply ask and is a nice guy, I took him for Micro and am happy to say I have his class scheduled for macro next

He is a great professor! I took him for macro and micro! Everyone I knew was jealous and wanted a seat. He does have a strong accent but writes everything on the board, gives you review sheets and hints at the important things in class. Do the review right and you will get a A! It's not a easy class but he makes it better, always willing to help.

Great guy! Always willing to help. Hard to understand at times but he writes everything he says on the board as our notes. Homework is difficult. Sometimes it doesn't relate to class notes, making it difficult to get a good grade. Exams are fair if you study. Make sure you study! I enjoy the class. Just make sure you attend class and keep up.
