If for nothing else, take a course from Corwin to get to know her. In addition to being an exceptionally wise & intelligent professor, she is a caring & sincere person who is willing to take time to give her students advice for both inside & outside the classroom. She's a rare find & someone you can really trust. You get out what you put into it.

She is absolutely amazing! You can tell she cares a lot about her students and she also loves to teach. I wish I had to take more classes with her. You don't see professors like her often, she is one of a kind.

Professor Corwin is great! She's such a fun lady to have teaching the class and she knows what she's talking about. She does deviate from the topic some occasionally, but even tat she has reasoned out. Even then, you find yourself enjoying her stories. We did have to volunteer 10 hours in her class, but it wasn't bad at all! Would recommend!!

Patty Corwin is hands down my favorite teacher on campus. She teaches amazingly and takes breaks to tell her old police stories (Which is what I always looked forward to). She creates an environment that makes dreading class, impossible. Highly, highly recommend her as a teacher!!

Mrs. Corwin is an absolutely wonderful human being. I had taken Soc 110 online and got an easy A. There are 5 tests and two papers that total to 200 points, but in those 5 exams 2 questions are extra credit. Exams are 32 points including the 2 extra credit points and 25 points for the papers. She posts weekly podcasts and the exams are easy !

She very sweet and funny and really cares that everyone gets a good grade and has a good life. She has a story about every topic and she's fun to listen to. Go to class! She also gives out extra credit points for volunteering and for doing other things.

Mrs. Corwin is one of the nicest professors here on campus. She makes her lectures fun, but beware. Her notes are extremely messy and half of them are not from the book. Tests are about half notes, half book, so it is important to buy.

Patty is seriously one of the sweetest women alive! She's so funny and kind. As far as Sociology 110 goes, don't just expect an A. Her tests are a little tricky, but doable. As long as you read over your notes thoroughly, you should be fine!

I have had her for a class before (SOC 235) & I chose this class because she was teaching it. I honestly miss my class with her. You learn more about life than anything else. She is SO nice! I ran into her at the grocery store the other day and she still remembered me. She cares about everyone, & is easy to just chat with.

I loved Professor Corwin. She is so cheerful and positive all the time. I thoroughly enjoyed how she found stories that she could relate to the material. My only complaint is the lack of material in the grade book. There were 4 tests and break out group points. So when I didn't do as well on the final exam it dropped my high A to a B.

I loved this class and the prof! She is super helpful and truly wants everyone to succeed in her class. Show up, take notes and you can easily get a good grade. Don't really need the book, I hardly used it. I highly recommend Professor Corwin and any of her classes.

i do not recommend Dr. Corwin, she used class time to talk about her many stories that didnt pertain to the test and when it came to material that she was supposed to teach at the end she flashed passed them and said "look these terms up in your book for the test"
