Ballard is a great teacher who takes pride in what he teaches. He is experienced, insightful, and willing to give students direction. Plenty of easy points and does give chances to make up lost points. One midterm and one cumulative final but neither we're overly hard. Text book is a must have, uses VSpace a lot. Good material/class, great prof!

Whoever says that Dr. B's class is too difficult obviously didn't attend the lecture. If you go to the lecture, you will get an A. Most of his material on the mid-term are the things you learn in class. There are quizzes before each lecture which help. Dr. B makes things incredibly interesting. If you're willing to work for it, you will get an A.

Dr. B is a great teacher for intro. If you take him in any upper level be prepared for it to be harder and to open you're book actually. He is a teacher who likes to be proud of his tests, but he's just preparing you for the real world.
