Comment:

The assignments are easy themselves but don't really help you understand. Every lecture is basically reading what you are supposed to. I did not personally learn much from it but as long as you get the assignments, midterm and final in, should be an A. If you want a more interesting lecturer and an actual teacher, he's not the one.

Comment:

Clark's teaching style is lethargic at best. While in class he would flip through the textbook, page by page and his lectures consisted of reading straight out of the book most of the time. Because of this, I am under the impression that he doesn't understand the material at hand. Despite this he is a tough grader on the exams and homework.

This is my second blended class with Paul. He has a clear syllabi and grading critirea. Grades fast and easy. Is available at main campus several days if you need him. Keeps at open lab for students to come in and work on the computers. Respectful and responds to emails within 24 hours. For Linux we purchased testout online program, about $100.

I enjoyed Mr. Clarks' class. Honestly, if you didn't know much about Linux, but were willing to ask questions and learn then it was pretty easy. He would even let you find out your grade and stay the same day to fix everything you got wrong to get a 100! I don't see how anyone could fail this class.

Mr. Clark was the WORST instructor I have ever had! First of all, I was the only girl in the entire class. When I raised my hand, he would call on me & would say "figure it out". He never explained or helped with trouble shooting. He doesn't tell you when things are due and his lectures are long & boring! Highly recommend taking someone else!

Taking this class is like taking Spanish 101 and never once the teacher would teach or speak the language. Meaning, you are taking a class on HTML coding (language) and have to learn on your own. The work is fair, but you never know when it is due, causing you to always be late with assignments. If you have a choice, take another teacher.

This instructor not once replied to emails that were sent. He never corresponded with the class through out the semester. Other students in the class also had the same frustration...... If you want to learn completely by yourself with no guidance or assistance, then this is the instructor for you

Mr Clark was awesome. It is definetely a self pace class but if you need help he is there for you. Test are easy and helpful, final exam week was stress free. Take his IT1010 course if you have to take a course like that.

I enjoyed this class and learned a lot. He spent 1/2 of the class time going over our reading material and upcoming homework and let us work on our (numerous) assignments during the remainder of class time. He is great about answering questions and follows-up well. I would definitely take him for another class.

I had NO interest in HTML, but took this as a required course. Paul made it interesting and although most of it was from the book, I learned a lot. Paul was always helpful when I had questions and was very knowledgeable on the subject matter. Great instructor.

Took this class as DL. Straight out of the book. I was told it was easy and he didn't even teach in class, so I didn't bother with a non-teaching class in person. Still got on A. He's nice, responds to emails, and doesn't grade harshly. Take online!

You just read the book and do the exercises. he doesn't grade them. He's like a study hall monitor than a teacher. Nice guy, though. Knows his subject and is helpful if you know what to ask. But no syllabus. Not clear on due dates.

Paul doesn't teach the class the Adobe Photoshop book does - so basically your lab time is spent going thru exercises in the book and that's it until he gives some kind of project and it isn't always clear what exactly he is looking for in them, I was really hoping to get a more helpful teacher since this is one of my majors, oh well i guess

Took Paul for Dreamweaver via distance learning...what a disaster that setup is. The book is fine, but Paul really didn't do any teaching. Things were not setup correctly in the beginning and help was scarce, but it worked out in the end after a trip to campus. I would take Paul again, but only in-person and not distance learning.

Very laid back. He is very helpful. If you ask a question and he doesn't know the answer then he will find it for you. Don't be fooled, he does know the subject. His class was easy and he respects your artistic opinions.

If you are looking for someone to TEACH you anything, this is not the teacher for you! If you want the easiest A in your life and don't care about a professional career then this is your man. You can learn EVERYTHING he "teaches" on your own easily. Don't waist your time or money with his class. Find a more motivated teacher or teach yourself.
