Took him for winter session and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend. Tests are lengthy but are MC. I took a lot from this class and I'm glad I did it, TAKE him. Such a nice guy

Comment:

Professor McGee was a great teacher, I would definitely take another class with him. The grade for my class was structured with 3 exams and some homework assignments, 30/30/30/10. Tests were mostly multiple choice. Challenging but not too difficult. He also posted notes for each chapter which were helpful for what to study.

You will not learn in the class, Prof. McGee doesn't explain things well. Doesnt check homework, but will review it during class. Give out practice study exams. Prof Mcgee only grades based on three exams, so I recommend studying hard for all three. Gives one extra credit assignment. Only uses canvas to post the grade you got for the exam.

Professor McGee is an awesome guy! I would just recommend that if you are someone like me who does not test well, do not take a class with him. I wish I had realized earlier on how much test grades impact your final grade in his class because I would not have stayed. He will help you to an extent if you reach out to him .

He is the nicest professor ever! He clearly knows what he's talking about. If you follow his homework and lecture you will be fine. He responds fast to email also. I actually learnt a lot more than I've ever expected. If there is any other Accounting class I have to take, I'll defintely take it with him.

McGee is a tough grader but his tests are the same as the practice exams so you just need to study the practice tests and you'll be fine! I suck at acc and fin but I passed this one so you can too. Just sit and listen to his long lectures that usually tend to go off topic!

He expects you to know all the material when the class begins, pretty much. He talks a lot it turns into white noise, but he is really nice and does his best to get you involved in the class discussion/problem on the board. Would I take his class again? Probably not. Would I wave hello to him if I saw him in public? Yes

Awesome guy. Funny, very fair and will understand if anything is wrong or if you need an extension. Tests are tough but he gives little assignments that he give full credit if you just pass it in (right or wrong). Wish I could have him every semester.

Great Professor! He is very motivating and funny in the class. He takes attendance, very polite and also gives you good feedback on assigned homework and exams. He also goes over the important accounting events on campus which is the first announcement in the class. He has a great personality. I would definitely take another course with him.

Great professor genuinely cares about his students' progress and success in the class. Study the practice tests and homework for the class and you'll do well. Attendance is not taken but you should be at every class if you intend on doing well on the exams. I'd take him for every accounting class if I could!

He is a kind professor but I hate his teaching style. He treated us like we were already accountants and just threw numbers on the board without explanations. For my first accounting class I had a bad experience. He never really explained the chapters thouroughly and our class was completely lost.

Prof. McGee is awsome. I was told I would never be good in accounting and that it's a really hard class. He really helps you understand the material and if you have a question he has no problem helping you. He does a ton of exercises with you and they really help you understand. i would take him again and again. i absolutely loved him
