It's true, he does play favorites and he will do everything within his power to make life very difficult for those who do not suck up to him or change themselves to accommodate his needs. Dr. Plew is an amazing music director at Master's. I've done the community choir known as Collegiate which he directs for 3 semesters and have enjoyed every minute of it. He is very funny and at the same time strict because he wants the sound to be just right, and also is an excellent example of a Man of God.

Dr. Plew is one of the most talented conductors you will ever have a chance to work with. The way he is able to pull a specific sound from a choir is uncanny. His musicality is incredible, and his love for the Lord is even greater.

Plew was unwilling to work with me because I am mostly an instrumental musician. He mostly favors the more operatic style singers who also play instruments. He embarassed me in front of other students because of my lack of abilities.
