I can't say I've ever seen him pick favorites, and he most definitely cares about his students. You'd be hard pressed to find another prof as friendly, open, entertaining, and knowledgeable as Dr. Sotherland.

I would avoid Dr. Sotherland's classes. He is not very helpful, and picks favorites . If you're not one of these favorites, he shows little to no interest in you as a Biology student. I was not impressed with him.
